Not much to do but walk the town. We tried to rent motor scooters but this required going to the police station, taking a written drivers test followed by a test in a vehicle. Not worth the hassle. ...

This island is allot more populated then Aitutaki and had a little more of a metropolitan feel, with the lush mountain backdrop. ...

This island is lush and mountainous and is where most of the Cook Islanders live and work. The coral reef surrounding the island is closer to shore so the lagoon is much smaller and there are not as many nice beaches and only a couple motus. Here we booked a ship tour called "Raro 4X4 Safari"--unfortunately our vehicle had a substitute driver so the narration was lacking. Overall it was ...

We arrived here on a Sunday, so many shops were closed. We opted for the snorkeling excursion and loved it. Amazing waters and more amazing fish. This was followed by a barbecue on a small islet across the lagoon. ...
