I am torn on this port, loved the Island, hated the tender which took forever and the donkey way which was slippery even when not raining. Also stinks when you walk the stairs. ...

Simply stunning. Taking pictures in Oia at sunset was unforgettable. We had an excellent guide and saw many, many beautiful houses and churches there. Santorini is one place I want to return to for a land-based vacation. It's just breathtaking. ...

If I could give half a star I would. I think all excursions are dependent on the guide. This port is extremely steep. If you’re not physically fit. Don’t go. The guide thought that we should be mountain goats. I’m not. If you are not either you will be left to find your own way back at your expense. ...

The port area was so busy, it was hard to tell if people were in line for the cable car or something else, or if they were just lost trying to find their way around. I ...

Too busy! I appreciate that I was contributing to this, but the hoards of visitors are making it an unpleasant experience. And don’t get me started on the queue for the cable car……. ...

Santorini is beautiful, but get up early to beat the crowds. We left Fira and headed to Oia first thing. There were about 50 tourists when we arrived, but there were thousands by the time we left. A cab took 5 of us up to Santo Wines for €40, and we had a beautiful wine tasting flight and tasting board. The views from there are gorgeous. With 4 ships in port, it was disastrous trying to ...
