1. Before my cruise on MSC Poesia, a looked-for Wi-Fi price list but didn't find it. So, i photographed it on the ship for future passengers. You can find it at the end of my review. 2. In general the cruise was very pleasant and interesting because the itinerary that included Greenland. The functioning of the ship was wonderful, without any problems. The food was very good in the buffet Lido ...

Very good service Everything very well organised When you arrive, when you leave , good system with the luggage Leaving the boat for an excursion and coming back was elaborate due to safety measurements Good food in the buffets and restaurants (Tomi!!), good variety Posibility for a small forfait to be able to drink freely, recommendable Nice cabin Interior a bit over the ...

Really good itinerary, could easily extend it to 2 full weeks though.

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Regal Princess

Chose to get on it Germany because there is way too much to see in Berlin and port is 2+ hours away. Flew in several days before cruise departure so we could tour Berlin first. Highly recommend a Hop-On-Hop-Off 48 hour pass. Tour of nearby Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp is very affordable when purchased directly (just $25) and not as a Princess excursion. Took a cab back to Tegel Airport to get ...

Enjoyable itinerary and experience

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Poesia

Our 3-generation family group of 6 enjoyed our weeklong Baltic cruise. We chose this sailing primarily for the combination of itinerary and cost and were not disappointed. We usually travel independently and found embarkation in Warnemunde easy with the local train station a short walk from the modern Port facility. With the exception of St. Petersburg, where a visa is required, we found the ...

We chose this Cruise Trip to North Europe, as this covers four stops in Western Norway, besides Copenhagen and Goteburg in Sweden. This was our second trip on Costa Ship. Very happy with their Itinerary, since main attraction was to visit Norwegian Fjords. Vast variety of food and comparatively far better Entertainment compared to others. Overall a great experience and Value for ...

A very enjoyable experience

We (five adults) wanted to go to the Baltics and MSC Poesia was the best option for us since we were to visit 9 ports including a two day stay in St. Petersburg. First time on MSC. We left from Warnemunde, Germany which is not an easy port to get to nor leave from Berlin. We could have embarked and disembarked in Copenhagen which after our experience in Warnemunde I would recommend. In ...

Great ports, service and cabins

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Poesia

I would like to give my honest review of the Baltic cruise on the MSC Poesia. We started our cruise in Warnemunde. We spent the night before the cruise in Rostock, Germany. It was a nice town with a strip of shops and colorful houses. In the morning we made the short drive to Warnemunde. I had purchased parking at Easy Parken for 96 euros for the cruise. It was a breeze. The workers were ...

Great ship but disappointment

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

User Avatar

The ship was suppose to go to places I wanted to see, but three ports were cancelled and we stayed on the ship extra days. We were suppose to go to five ports but only went to two, Estonia and Russia. Port calls in Germany, Finland and Sweden were cancelled. Bad weather was cited for the reason but there had to be other reasons since we bypassed Helsinki even thought the storms had passed ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary which unfortunately we missed 60% of the scheduled ports due to weather. This was a big disappointment but overall the ship is beautiful and the staff were wonderful. Although the ship can obviously not control the weather I don’t think adequate provisions were made for the changed itineraries. We ended up not finding out that we were not going to Berlin ...

Better than expected

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Orchestra

We have just returned from an 11 night port intensive Baltic cruise on Orchestra and I have to admit we went with limited expectations after reading previous reviews. A little background and context first which I think is important when reading these reviews: We are in our early 50’s and have mainly sailed with Royal Caribbean, Princess and Oceania. Our Diamond status on R.C. allowed us to ...
