We booked this cruise to visit the Mexican Riviera and get away from the daily routine and relax. I require a special diet that is not on the list of Princess diets. The Head Waiter ordered my lunch and dinner to be prepared with the right ingredients and made sure I didn't eat anything I should not. It was very comforting to know that you can rely on a cruise ship to treat you this way. ...
This was our fifth cruise in 8 years. At the end of each cruise we rate that cruise against all previous cruises and rank them from most popular to least popular. Here is the rankings:
#1 - NCL 21 day east and west Mediterranean
#2 - Princess 17 day Panama Canal from Vancouver
#3 - NCL 7 day west Mediterranean
#4 - Princess Ruby 7 day Mexican Riviera (cruise being ...
We had a fabulous time on our cruise to the Mexican Riviera. All the staff were very professional and courteous. The food was so delicious and the waiters superb.
Everywhere we went, we were greeted with smiles from the staff. We sat out by the pool and watch football and movies on the big screen TV. That was so much fun.
Each port was fun to explore. We shopped and enjoyed the scenery ...
This was our 17th cruise and the longest one my wife and I have taken. It was also our first (but not last) cruise with Princess. It was wonderful! The Ports visited were beautiful and the excursions were great. Everyone on the ships staff treated us like we were special. The ship was beautiful and completely relaxing. We had a mini-suite that was all we hoped for and more. It was very ...
Have always wanted to see the Panama Canal and partial transit was a great way to do it. Watched the workings from the bridge and it was amazing.
As for the ports, all were as expected. Went to the Rainforest in Limon. Beautiful and peaceful. Tour of Cartagena was interesting but vendors hounding you every second was a bit annoying. Rafting in Jamaica was a unique experience. Beach in Aruba. ...
Chose this cruise as the Panama Canal was on our bucket list of cruise 'musts'. Quite concerned re the number of negative views however we have sailed with a number of cruise lines including Holland America, Princess, NCL so we are not new to cruising and know people's expectations/experiences are different.
What was good. Really liked the Coral Princess, right size and passenger capacity not ...
This was our 12th Princess Cruise . We've always cruised with Princess. And loved it. But this cruised changed all that. First the ship. Big, understaffed, and dull. The color scheme was awful. The change in layout at all the bars meant that there was constant foot traffic thru the middle of most. No more quiet corners to relax in. The staff was sparse. Surly. downright rude in some cases. The ...
Two years ago we cruised on the sister ship - Regal Princess. These two ships are gorgeous and the cruise experience is very good. I like a ship of this size - slightly smaller than the current mega ships, but quite large enough to have a great deal of amenities. And somewhat easier to navigate.
The Southern Caribbean excursion was great - good stops - I think my favorites were Aruba and ...
Granted, I was only on one other back in 2009 but this was so wonderful, it's hard to believe I did it!
We had no trouble with embarking or departing. All the staff were by far the nicest, friendliest, professionals I could have hoped for.
We did the Chef's table which was so over the top! Naveen and Frederico treated us as if we were family and the food presentation, flavor and quality ...
We are relative newbies to cruising. Did an Alaska cruise about 17 years ago on Royal Caribbean with our kids and my wife's parents (we live in Vancouver so it was convenient). Then no cruising till April this year, when my wife and I (59-60 years young) did the 10 day Eastern Caribbean on the Royal Princess. After the first few days we thought we had made a mistake and cruising wasn't for us. ...
