Excellent cruise through the Alaskan island passage

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

Why Regent? We selected Regent because of their upscale reputation and because they had a follow-on tour to Denali after the cruise. We usually cruise on Azamera and Oceania because we like smaller ships with better service. We found Regent to be a cut above those two. Previous reviews complained about the quality of service and wine. We found the service to be excellent and the wines ...

Regent cruise has put us off cruising for the future...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

We chose this cruise partly because of the reviews and partly because it went to a few places that we have not been before. First, the good: They had an excellent lecturer aboard and I thought his presentation was phenomenal. They had one great restaurant: Chartreuse, for French, but you can only book it once. The suite was adequate, lots of drawer space. The seating area could be ...

Our first cruise on Regent, won’t be our last!

This cruise took us from Iceland, through the Faroe and Shetland Islands, to Norway, Sweden, and ending in Copenhagen. What a wonderful experience - we will find it difficult to “go back” to regular cruising. The service was outstanding, drinks were generous and ubiquitous, our cabin was so luxurious that we didn’t mind spending time in it, excursions were informative and geared to the ...

Incredible northern cruise

Fortunately for us our inclusive pre-cruise hotel in Reykjavik was in a great location in the old town, however talking to many of our fellow passengers it appears we were very lucky and most were in hotels some distance from the city centre. Taking advantage of our pre-cruise time we took a privately arranged Golden Circle Tour, which despite the so-so weather was an amazing day out giving a ...

Regent is more NCL than Luxury

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

We have sailed on Regent going back to when they were Radisson, ( Pre-Regent days), and thought they were excellent. We last enjoyed them a year ago in Alaska, and we were looking forward to sailing on their new ship the Explorer. Advertised as the most luxurious ship a-float, we thought this would be the ultimate in Regent Cruising. Suffice it to say I assume that the cost of the ship and its ...

Reykjavik to Copenhagen: One of Our Best Cruises Ever

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

We chose this cruise due to its unique Itinerary. We've had enough of St. Petersburg, which dominates the other Scandinavian cruises. We had never been to Iceland, the Faroe Islands or the Shetland Islands, or most of the other stops in Norway, Denmark or Sweden. My wife has never seen Norway. We loved Explorer during our Panama Canal New Year's cruise at the beginning of the year. It sails ...

Not a lot of attention to detail

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

we choose this cruise because we had heard good things about Regent and we liked the fact that it was all inclusive. We liked the ship itself. It was clean and well maintained. We did not like the pool because it was too hard to get into and out of. The concierge level cabin was nice. The bathroom had both a bath tub and a separate shower and we liked the fairly large walk in closet. ...

A great cruise to a beautiful part of the country

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

The Mariner was a beautiful ship with amazing staff, lots to do, good food, great ports of call and fun excursions. It was our first trip to Alaska and it was great. The scenery was gorgeous all the way from north to south. The size is just right so you have enough variety in restaurants, activities, excursions but you do not feel like you are surrounded by hundreds of people. The cabins are ...

First Cruise/Fabulous Experience

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

I read all of the reviews I could find to select the best cruise for my family. I didn't want a huge ship with crowded facilities and screaming children. Although this cruise was pricey, the cruise discourages tips, and everything is included. There is no nickel and diming that I have heard occurs on other cruise lines. It turned out that this cruise met all of my expectations and more. The ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

User Avatar

I just had to add this review having read a recent one from someone who cruised in July 2019. I'm obviously really sorry that their cruise was not up to standard, however I have been on RSSC Voyager twice before and due to go again very soon. I do accept that cruise reviews are subjective, and that we all see things in a different way. I would say that a number of comments made are simply not ...
