The cruise was chosen for destination and length of cruise I wasn’t sure how the 21 day cruise would be seeing I had not been on a ship for this lengthy duration. It was wonderful. I found with the longer cruise I never felt rushed to fit everything in or over schedule my time.
The Breakaway has far more outdoor deck space that can be enjoyed with relaxing furniture. There are outside ...
Its true that I dont have a lot of cruise experience and what I have (except for another cruise line in 2013) is post Covid but I am very puzzled about so many poor reviews of this ship. In my opinion, it was close to perfect. Yes, there were a few aspects about it that could have been improved. I will mention them throughout the review.
The hardest part of this cruise for me was trying to ...
This was a bucket list cruise for me and my sister. Cruised to Alaska in late fall to hopefully see the northern lights and we did. We were told it was the best weather of the season, even though it was the last cruise of the season. We simple loved the convenience of the cruise, unpack once and enjoy everything the ship has to offer which was alot. We enjoyed some of the specialty ...
We honeymooned on the Crown in 2007. Had a great time sailing from NYC to the Caribbean and back. That trip kick started our love of cruising. So this trip was a homecoming of sorts.
How was it 16 years later? While the ship has obviously aged and shows some wear here and there, overall it seems to be actually improved. The tech added throughout the ship is brilliant. The medallions worked ...
My nephew had a break at school so my sister took the opportunity to take him on vacation so she booked NCL Bliss.
I had no plans on joining them but my mother talked me into it so I can keep them company.
This turned out to be the best vacation of my life. We ate, drank, play, laugh ... it was fantastic.
Weather - cloudy and occasionally wet. Typical PNW weather at this time of year. ...
I didn't pick this cruise, my bride did. One day out of the blue, she asked me "Can we go on an Alaska cruise?" We'd already been on one in 2017, but I didn't argue with her. It's a good enough cruise to do a repeat.
We flew to Seattle the day before the cruise and stayed at the Waterfront Marriott. It's pricey, but across the street from the cruise port. It's close enough that the bell ...
This was our first Princess cruise - and it won't be our last! We have cruised Carnival and NCL and usually choose our ship based on the itinerary, price etc... Several family members encouraged us to try Princess so when we saw the repositioning deal for the Majestic from Vancouver to LA it was a great time to try it - we chose a balcony cabin with Princess Plus. We made a $200 bid to upgrade ...
We are experienced cruisers, and LOVED this ship. We had read mixed reviews and decided to see for ourselves, and we were blown away. We had been on all of the Oasis class ships (with exception to Wonder), and in the end, this might be our favorte ship of all.
Clean! One of the cleanest ships we have been on.
The crew were fantastic! From our cabin steward, to dining staff, the rec ...
Most of our cruises have been 21 to 28 days but this was a 56 day adventure in the South Pacific.
The itinerary was great although a couple of ports missed due to weather and the laid back South Pacific lifestyle!
The crew so friendly, hard working, accommodating and caring. . Cruise director was outstanding as was the captain . After 56 days we were one big happy family.
It is an older ...
We booked this 4 night Alaska Preview cruise because Airfare was less to fly to Vancouver than it was to Southern cruise ports. My sister was interested in doing a longer Alaska Land & Cruise tour package so this sampler cruise was perfect way to get her to see a Vancouver, Ketchikan, and Seattle. Honestly, this cruise could not have been more perfect! Weather was so perfect every day, I packed ...
