Food: Quality and taste was below average. Not good if you have a diet restriction. Blend food and too much salt. Not good vegan options. Got fruits for desserts most of the time. They close part of the marketplace counters early. No soft-serve ice cream for ice cream lovers.
Cleanliness: Not so great. I could smell smoke in my cabin most nights.
Waterslides: Closed a few times because of ...
This was the worst cruise line I’ve ever dealt with. From the time that I stepped onto the boat till the time that I got off, it was nothing but issues. The first issue I had was as soon as we got on they told me that my kids didn’t have a soda package which I clearly purchased and verified before I even went on the cruise. I had to turn around and purchase free beverage packages for my kids while ...
Really enjoyed the dining options available with Your-Time dining, hope they don't change the ChiBang and Cucina de Capitano to be pay venues. My daughter loved the Big Chicken and I enjoyed the Street Eats. Wish they would extend the Street Eats hours a bit. Balcony cabin a bit smaller than previous ships and bathroom layout not as comfortable, but thank you for the glass shower door! Didn't ...
We have cruised several times with Carnival and we have not been disappointed. It is always a fun and pleasant experience doing Carnival Cruises, for me and my husband.
Galveston, Texas is our homeport- with only 5 hours of driving. We decided to do a short (6-day) cruise from Galveston after a somewhat long 2022 Carnival Mediterranean Cruise and several days of pre-post cruise stay in Rome ...
DO NOT CRUISE ON THIS SHIP!!!
Mold on food, food safety, & Overcharged
I was just on MSC Seaside from 4/30/23 to 5/7/23. Which was my first cruise with MSC & will be my last on MSC.
My wife & went to seashore fine dinning restaurant, my wife was served the plate with grapes the clearly has mold on them (picture attached). We told the head waiter about the mold & told him the table we were ...
We got a great deal and went into this cruise with lower expectations. The embarkation process was seamless. No issues. Our room was functional, clean, and attendant was nice. The bar in the serenity area was our bar of choice and we loved it! Serenity area does need a bigger pool. The overall food was very good. We had an odd experience at the Italian restaurant. We got our dessert...but no ...
We had the worst cabin on the ship, on deck 14 right under pool chairs. All day and night we hear dragging of metal chairs on the metal deck. It’s like torture. Whole 7 days and nights listening to metal on metal dragging. This ship is only half a year old and chairs in dining rooms already have holes in them. They placed smoking area right next to the entrance to Wind Jammers, the main buffet. So ...
The seas were rough going out of Baltimore. But the cruise was so much fun. Sure the itinerary was rushed the first few days, and I'd like a do over on those days (even missed dessert on the firstfew days), but the staff was friendly and the excusisions were so much fun. Half the cruise got sea sick so they canceled and postponed entertainment. Spent a lot of money at the casino it was fun and ...
Reading some of the comments from my fellow passengers had me scratching my head. I just don't understand how spending time with a loved one while not having to cook, clean or work could lead to such a bad experience.
Seaside is a newer ship with a definite European feel and design. We spent most of our time outside of the room on decks 7 and 8. The champagne bar was our favorite! We had the ...
Sailed MSC on different ship years ago and loved it. This trip was not at all up to par.
Upgraded to Auria. They charged double. $700
Then no Auria services. No wash cloths, no robes, no pool towels, locked mini bar. Now mind you we had already purchased a drink package as well with wifi. Which you think is free per Advertisement but is really 400+ More dollars on room charge for two. ...
