We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit several of the Hawaiian islands and thought this would be a good option. We were happy with the ports however the cruise was very poor. My husband and I did this much anticipated cruise to celebrate my 70th birthday. The itinerary was great. The islands are beautiful. The ship and some tours were another story. For a newly refurbished ship it was not in the best of shape. Chose this this cruise to celebrate our (and our friend's) 35th wedding anniversary and the best way to see Hawaii. Very pricey by comparison to the 13 previous cruises we've been on (primarily the Caribbean), about double for balcony cabins and almost equal to the aft suite we had for Alaska.

We had a balcony stateroom (10552) and would recommend this as it gave us a little more room, allowed fresh air in the room and was great to view the sights from. We choose the Pride of America as it has the only Honolulu-Honolulu itinerary. We wanted lots of time on the islands without being at sea.
