We took a cruise to celebrate Spring Break. We departed from Miami Terminal G. Upon first arrival in the terminal, the age and lack of cleanliness were apparently going to foreshadow the remainder of the trip. While everyone in the terminal was very nice, it just was not up to the Celebrity status that we have come accustomed to.
Our first stop was in Key West which did go smoothly. It was ...
This cruise has been a total and complete disaster. We are currently on the Celebrity Summit. We got on the ship and should have gone w our gut feeling to turn around and get off. It has been the worst vacation we have ever had! Our room was dirty and disgusting upon arrival. We tried to get off in Key West but due to the Jones Act we would have been charged around $4k to get off. We sucked it up ...
Many time cruiser but first on the Royal mega-size. Exceeded expectations, yes there are 6000 people but they're spread out and there are some nice places to hang out without crowds like the Central Park.
Had five grandchildren along (ages 3 to 14) and they all found fun things to do. Coco Cay day was impacted by cold rain but I'm sure when the weather is nice it's even better.
Liked the ...
Embarking and disembarking were easy and quick. The cabin (although was a little small) was comfortable and clean. The food (dinner) was a little disappointing in terms of portion but is very tasty. The facilities were good but i was expecting a little more things to do while sailing. The pools and hot tubs were always busy so didn’t get to enjoy them. However, we found ourselves enjoying a vast ...
Thanks to Covid restrictions and other family travels, this was our first cruise in nearly 5 years. We had cruised twice before on Equinox and were a little concerned that the ship might have changed considerably. However, we needn't have worried as everything was more or less as we remembered it! Our only gripe was that most of our favourite, and quiet (!), sunbathing spots were now reserved ...
I’ll start this review by saying I am a very experienced cruiser with status on Disney, Royal and Carnival and this was my first and probably last Celebrity cruise for a while.
Starting on a positive note with pros - the interior of the ship was redone during COVID so the rooms are very pretty. We went during a peak week so we did 2 ocean view cabins on the third deck and they were very ...
our 21st cruise. 7th on Celebrity going back to the Century. Sadly our cruising days are over. We booked late so got an inside room on deck 2. It was dirty, missing towels and Kleenex unit our 2nd day. There was no Captain Club welcome, nothing. The ship is worn. How is it a 23 year old ship is still sailing when the beautiful Century got scraped years ago? We easily got into anytime dining at ...
The Magnifica crew provided Excellent service! I Chose to carry own luggage off ship however Debarking was very organized and quickly got off the ship in less than 15 minutes.
The Food was good but Europeanish so I was able to expand my palate a bit. Locs, grilled cheese and pepperoni.
The freshly made pizza is delicious with many varieties and is hot and waiting which is so satisfying at ...
Main dining room food terrible, long waits. Specially dining, food and staff very good. Have to beg for ice for the room , even after tipping Stewart when we came on board, They use to just put ice in your room at night. The Weather conditions changed our itinerary, not their fault. But I tried to cancel an excursion, I found out the Cavens had over 100 steps, since I bought the tickets awhile ...
This was our first Norwegian Cruise. The smoking section is located in the middle of the ship next to the children’s pool, the buffet entrance, and the walkway to get around outside. You smell second hand smoke on the upper and lower decks around it. The casino is also smokey and located near the food areas and entrances to stores and restaurants. If you have a family, or just can’t stand second ...
