The cruise hit several locations we wanted to visit. We were glad we started in Greece then Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and went to Italy. We did extend our trip 2 days in Venice which was a must. The locations seemed to improve as we headed north. The food was outstanding and the daily wine choices were great. We should have taken more advantage of the onboard entertainment. The crew were ...

Recommendation from friends. The ship was clean and efficient. The staff were truly great - responsive and polite. The food was excellent at Manfreds but could only get a reservation one night - very disappointing. Some meals at The Restaurant were good and others not so - for example, Sword Fish over cooked. The public places on board were very comfortable. The optional excursions were great. The ...

This was luxury. The ports were all delightful to visit. Excellent guides in every port who knew all about the places we were in. Ship lectures were very good, again the speakers were extremely knowledgeable. All the staff seemed genuinely happy and ready to please. Nothing was too much trouble. Drinks included with meals were plentiful and good quality wines. Restaurant food was first ...

Beautiful countries. Some wonderful excursions especially Montenegro. A couple stops were extremely congested. Dubrovnik and Corfu crowds were massive. We missed Santorini due to high winds. Staff and crew on Viking Star were great. Room steward Virginia was fantastic! Food on board and ashore was incredible. We would probably not repeat this itinerary but only because we would like to experience ...

Greek Island Cruise was on my Wife's bucket list. We had previously been on a Viking River Cruise. Athens was a surprise and disappointment. Dirty, run down. Ship - Our ship met all of our expectations of Viking. Cabin - Typical layout of Viking ship cabins. Compact, clean, and well laid out. Dining - Excellent. Mixture of fine dining to cafeteria type dining. Entertainment and ...

The Adriatic & Greece is perfect cruising grounds with scenic sailing, interesting ports with lots of history and interesting people wherever we stopped. The cruise was in a single word- superb. The ship is well maintained. The service was unbelievable. The cabin was well appointed and well maintained by a professional and polite staff. The food was "to die for" and the wine selection outstanding. The steak at Manfredi's restaurant is probably the best piece of meat we have ever had. The Chief Table, The Restaurant, World Cafe, and Pool Grill ...

We chose this cruise because we loved the Riverboat cruise that we took back in 2017 and though we would try the ocean line. The food and service was amazing -- rooms were lovely -- and I enjoyed the free wi-fi The entertainment is geared to an older crowd - there wasn't enough entertainment and with a lot of wasted space on the ship -- I felt there should have been more to choose from. ...

Having loved our Viking River Cruise in 2017, we decided to try the Viking Ocean Cruise. So glad we did. Everything about the ship and the crew was exceptional. The atmosphere, the food, wine, shore excursions, on board activities, it was all marvelous. With only 930 passengers, one never felt crowded and we never had to wait for a table or any type of service. The crew was super ...

I wasnt quite sure what to expect for our Viking Star Ocean voyage after six previous Viking river cruises. Needless to say I was extremely pleased. Everything about the ship from our 3rd deck veranda stateroom to the excellent service and friendly crew was great. You would never know that the ship had over 600 passengers aboard as there was plenty of space to relax and enjoy being not on a ...
