My sister celebrated her 71st Birthday on the ship - the cabin team helped make her day extremely memorable! We were all "over the moon" surprised! Never been on a Cruise line that went to this extent before!!! Well done Oceania!

Disappointing for a cruise advertised as luxury
"Ecuador, Guatemala, Salaverry, Lima - all commercial ports so there were no opportunities to walk into town and experience local culture. It is supposed to be a Foodie Cruise, but our first fine dining experience in Toscana was utter disappointment - the tender lobster so overly spiced, it was not edible...."Read More

Disappointing for a cruise advertised as luxury

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Marina

The attraction to this cruise WAS the itinerary - daytime passage through Panama Canal was a highlight and ending in Lima, Peru allowed us to knock off Machu Picchu post cruise (booked it directly through Peru For Less). The onboard staff representing 50+ countries were always helpful and efficient - a special shout out to housekeeping and Terrace Cafe staff. Disappointments: there were so many. ...

2023 YOLO Trip - Oceania did not disappoint!

The itinerary was our deciding factor for choosing this Cruiseline/Ship. The dates also matched up with when we wanted to be away. Add in that this itinerary knocked a ton of items off our BUCKET LIST: • Crossing the “Tropic of Cancer” • Visit Central America • Transit the Panama Canal • Crossing the “Equator” • Visit South America • Penthouse suite on a Cruise Ship! (Thanks to ...

It was chaos to start!

Going on a Panama Canal cruise from Miami to Lima Peru was on our bucket list. The itinerary was terrific. The boat is old and needs renovation to to bottom. Unfortunately, we are on this tub again in June from Lisbon to Oslo for 23 days. The scheduled renovations will only touch the Penthouses and common areas, not the balcony staterooms. We were lied to about this from several sources onboard. ...

Over promise and under perform

Review for a South America Cruise on Marina

This cruise line not only fails to live up to promises but also fails in its communication with passengers. One is treated as a commodity not a person by many, not all, staff. It seemed the more senior the more they under performed. Complaints on board were met with a blank stare or excuses not explanations or apologies. Food was poor to ok, with worst in the specialty French and Italian ...

We are very impressed with the care and concern Oceania shows its passengers regarding health regulations. No one on the ship contracted Covid-19. Five certified testers from Eurofins traveled with the ship and tested guests and crew at every port. The service by cabin stewards and waitstaff is always incomparable. The ports are generally interesting. The line maintains a library, which has ...

How not to cope with Novo Virus; poor only because of the handling of situation.

Left Lima 18 days quickly became apparent novo virus on board. Food went down hill service, laundry was close all lounges closed, all facilities closed, no coffee machines open. 18 days later now nothing in cabins and plastic cups for water. Novo Virus happens so learn to deal with it, we have all paid for luxury and ended up at Macdonalds! Staff very helpful but when so much of the ...

This was our 4th time on either Marina or her sister ship. The cruise was 18 days from Miami to Lima with going through the Panama Canal. It made port in several interesting countries along the way. We were again very pleased. The ship is in excellent condition and immaculate. It is continuously cleaned! Our cabin was a concierge on 9th floor. This is our favorite floor because we almost ...

Time for remodel

We tried Oceania. We have cruised Silverseas and seaborne. The ship focuses on food. Our recent cruise was loaded with elderly very large folks. These folks cannot board buses or walk very well. They hobble down the halls clogging up the isles. Also because of the limited physical abilities of the passengers the off ship excursions are geared to large inanimate viewing. This ship is in need ...

High (very high!) Seas

Although we've cruised a dozen times or more, mostly on Celebrity, we booked a December 17 Oceania sailing over Christmas, mostly for the long (12 night) itinerary. Although the Marina holds 1250 passengers, we kept hearing that our sailing carried only 810 passengers, so we certainly received the benefit of excellent passenger:staff ratio!! The food was terrific, and since the ship was not ...

We took a 12 day Miami-Miami on December 17, 2017 with stops in Guatemala, Mexico, Honduras, Colon (Panama Canal) Costa Rica, Belize, and Key West. First time on Oceania. Ship: Ideal size, 1250 capacity (we had just over 800 on board), Very tasteful decor throughout; loaded with original art. Very classy. We had rough seas several days, but we did fine. We do 1/2 of a patch behind the ear. ...
