Poor Experience

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

Flight delay (3h), booked with Royal Caribbean. Airport to Ship transfer did not show up (non refundable). Having paid for transfer, I had to pay additional for a Taxi, so I would not miss the ship. Made it just in time for the safety drill (1hour there). On top of that, bad weather (but that's not RCI fault). In order to hear the announcements, I needed to keep the door open, since the speaker ...

We cruise with RC all the time so much so that we are almost at Diamond Status. So it kills me to say this but we had a terrible time on Enchantment of Seas. We stayed in room 3599. Unbeknownst to us this was directly below the Centrum. We heard EVERY party thru our ceiling every night ALL night. So got zero sleep. Our room did not have a fridge which we needed because husband has meds that need ...

Just not enough staff to take care of its cruisers.

My travel agent booked it. We had never sailed on Royal Caribbean and want to see what it was like compared to our other experiences. Rooms were nice and the staff tried so hard to accommodate you but there wasn't enough of them to go around. Trying to get a beverage at pool was tough. My husband had to get up and get them or wait a long time before someone could get to you. Ordered ...

my comments are based on having taken over 30 cruises on multiple cruise lines over the last 40 years. windows terribly dirty throughout the ship and in our stateroom which affected your enjoyment. we paid extra for large cabin window and could not see out clearly. need to clean the windows or park the boat. could not hear announcements on ship so missed activities music and ...

Our first time cruising, last time with Royal Caribbean. i actually wanted to do 1 out of five but decided to do 2/5 just because of the hard working staff. Do yourself a favor, and don't waste your money on this cruise, you are better off spend your money on a nice resort. Here is why I gave them a poor rating: *The main reason that we booked this cruise is to go to Cocokay island. But the ...

Don't waste your money on this cruise or Royal Caribbean

It is one of the worst vacation that we took. The first time on a cruise ship and the last time with royal Caribbean. If you are reading this post, don’t waste your money. The only reason that I gave the 2/5 is because of the hard working staff onboard the ship. Here are some of what experienced onboard the ship: 1. Long waiting lines to get your sailing card 2. Very small rooms even though ...

Let's start by saying that I am a seasoned cruiser and have been on many voyages with different cruise lines and on different continents. Chose this ship for the dates sailed and number of nights. Booked the cruise as a surprise for my husband's 50th birthday. Ordered room decorations, strawberries and champagne and a cake prior to departure. None was actually done. Disappointing! Very ...

Cruise started out okay but went down hill from there. 1st stop was in Nassau Bahamas which was good. Next day was to be in Cococay Bahamas woke up to recording advising we would not be going to Cococay water to choppy to disembark from ship, stayed at see all day didn't get to Key west any earlier and was given a extra hour at Key West Florida. Problem was during our extra day at sea there ...

We chose this cruise for the destinations (Bahamas) but the impression of this ship was not good, not as clean and not as friendly stuff like the other Royal Caribbean cruise (Freedom of the Seas) we did 2 weeks before. Due to our previous experience with Royal Caribbean we were expecting luxury, respect from stuff member and professionalism, which unfortunately for short cruises this was not ...

My bad, booked a 5-day party cruise over Spring Break

Booked this cruise because we were getting off another cruise that day (it was a Monday) and wanted to cruise to finish off the week cruising before having to fly home on the weekend. I didn't even think about it being Spring Break and a 5-day party cruise until after we had already booked. My Bad! The ship was FULL of 20-somethings doing what 20-somethings do on a cruise on spring break. Not ...
