"Once we boarded the ship, we realized in the app, they had changed our dining to my time (which includes a wait time), we immediately responded to the main dining room and spoke with the crew member who stated for over 45 minutes after multiple phone calls that he understood why we were upset but that he couldn't do anything about it because they did not have a table for 3 people, they were all full, i told him they were all full because they bumped us from our existing reservation to please a different guest.5 hours (wasted time on day 1, with a 6 year old that was beyond hungry) he finally resolved the problem for us...."Read More

1-10 of 253 Miami Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas Cruise Reviews
This ship has a lot of positive coverage on YouTube, but we feel the reality fell short. The main problem was the lack of ocean views and this is probably the main reason we didn’t enjoy the cruise compared to smaller ships. The only place with good water views is the buffet. Everywhere else feels like a high end mall or Las Vegas. If you don’t have a balcony room, you can easily go the whole day ...
Crew A+ Waitstaff and housekeeping steward…. Food mediocre, chops grill steak inferior filet mignon cut and sides came out cold. Windjammer worst buffet experience, food and presentation, main dining room waitstaff great….food menu disappointing and mediocre. Solarium great at night, chaotic for breakfast and food selection much like a school cafeteria. Future cruise department was a ...
We have travelled on 16 cruises all around the world on 7 different cruise lines; this was the most disappointing we have ever had for many reasons... Here are our main gripes:-
The sundecks 15 & 16 are abysmal, the whole area covered in loungers lined up tight side by side with no side entry and roped in position unable to turn towards the sun and near impossible to get on ! On our cruise with ...
Just returned from the Symphony of the Seas transatlantic sailing – Miami to Barcelona. We cruise a lot, our third in six months but for whatever reason have not had occasion to cruise RCCL since 2014. Things have changed.
FOOD
What is going on with RCCL's food service? ALL the food - even in the specialty restaurants was of a noticeably lower quality than the ships we've been on recently ...
It’s been 7 years since we were on Allure of the Seas, and I’ve been waiting for a good deal on an Oasis class ship. This transatlantic cruise was priced so low that we were easily temped to book it.
There was only one port initially (Malaga), with the ship was heading for dry-dock afterwards.
A few weeks later we were pleased to learn another port (Valencia) has been added.
We arrived ...
OMG. Where do I even start. I'm cured of ever wanting to go on a cruise again and I've only been on 2. The chaos an amateurishness of the embarkation process was my first clue. Total nightmare. Before the cruise, I spent weeks emailing back and forth with the special needs department and filling out the required forms and found out on the first night that NONE of the information about my ...
I chose this cruise because my experience with the Symphony in the past was great. After a long wait post Covid decided to take another. However, this recent experience was very disappointing. The my time dining completely change from the prior booking experiences without prior notice to me. The food selections in the windjammer was very poor. The entertainment and option to book in advance was ...
We chose this particular cruise due to the ship's reputation and the locations covered in the itinerary, as well as our previous experiences with Royal Caribbean, which have been consistently positive. Despite the Symphony's large size and passenger and crew capacity, it seldom felt crowded; the amount and variety of activity options doubtless helped in this regard. Meals in the main dining room ...
Cruise was not as good as those I have taken on the other big Rcc ships. The quality o the dining and the failure of the cruise director made tht\ this cruise less than enjoyable. One big failure was to have blind disco dancing with not enough head sets for all who wanted to participate. Also there were many activities but so many of them were only 30 minutes. . the only outstanding ...
DAY 1: Embarkation Day
We had a 10:30-11:00 check-in time. We were on-board before 11:00. Getting on-board early isn’t as smart as I thought it would be. The Windjammer hadn’t opened yet nor had the eMuster Stations.
When the Windjammer finally opened up we discovered that I was still the worst buffet at sea. Too small and too few selections.
By 1pm we had completed or eMuster Drill ...
