Surprising and better than OK

Chosen for Bermuda and price. A beautiful and very clean ship. Embarkation very well handled even though we did not have the proper documents supplied to us by MSC. Our cabin was very small, but clean and quiet. Dining mixed. MSC should stick to European style menus and not try to give Americans american style food. Steaks in the dining room so bad that we did not even consider the ...

Review Divina April 9th through the 16th. Miami - Bermuda - Nassau - Miami I will try to make this as brief as possible and just mention items that may help other travellers. Booking: We do not use a Travel Agent we called an MSC agent and used MSC's web page directly. The web page or perhaps the connection to the web page needs some work even the MSC agent had problem. It is not ...

Newcomers to MSC, and we survived the Bermuda Triangle!

We had never been to Bermuda and had never sailed with MSC before, so we thought it was a good way to discover a couple of new things. The Divina is a beautifully decored ship, with attentive and smiling crew. Dining was great as we got to know our waiter (John) very well, and he and his assistant took very good care of us. As far as the Steakhouse specialty restaurant goes, it was our only ...

Expectations will make or break this cruise

We've cruised Carnival 5 times in the past and was so disappointed with our last cruise that we did not cruise for 8 years. We are a couple of DINKs in our 40's and were looking for a much needed break from the weekly grind. This was our return to cruising because we really wanted to see Bermuda. EMBARKATION: Overall smooth. The biggest issue was that once on board you had to use a kiosk to ...

A sad five days aboard to gain access to Bermuda for fifteen hours.

Took this for affordable access to Bermuda. Initially wowed by the glamorous decor but that soon faded. We felt it was one of those you can't get there from here ships. No big beautiful lounge high up in the bow. No outdoor eating area behind the buffet at the stern. Not enough public restrooms and it seemed half of them were being cleaned at any given time. Four elevators in a bank but ...

7 nights stopping in Bermuda and Nassau (Bahamas) Okay. Here goes: The Good Beautiful ship. The cabin attendants do the lord's work keeping the rooms spotless and replacing the towels before you even knew you needed them. The public area of the ship are on par with a glitz Vegas hotel, including a full-tilt 1000 seat thester. MSC is an Italian operation. The pizzas and gelato, and ...

I've sailed in the Yacht Club three times and can't wait to get back on the ship later this month. The Yacht club is the best experience that I've done and will be back again very soon. It's so nice to be pampered and being a very experienced cruiser it's nice to be recognized by the staff and made to feel special. The shows are incredible and not one bad one has been experienced. Waiting to ...

HUGE disappointment!

Our MSC Divina cruise (April 11-18) started out oddly. No one met boarding passengers to tell them anything about the ship, so we were all milling around, not sure what to do or where to go, since we boarded at 12 noon and could not get in our cabins until 3 pm. When we finally got to the cabin, we didn't know how to turn on the lights. There was nothing on the wall beside the switch to inform ...

I read the reviews before my trip and came not expecting the best...I am a Royal Carib and Celebrity cruise loyal customer but I wanted to see Bermuda and this one offered 3 nts. in Bermuda so that was why I booked. Needless to say 4 days before the cruise I read on cruise critic that the ship would not get 3 nts. in Bermuda, no reason was ever given and big deal we got $50. onboard cr. per ...
