(4:48 p.m. GMT) -- ITV has confirmed that the hugely-popular television show "The Cruise" will return on January 3 for a sixth series.
The new series will feature six 30-minute episodes following crew and passengers on Princess Cruises' 3,560-passenger Majestic Princess, as the ship sails exotic itineraries in Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Viewers will be introduced to some new faces, including Captain Dino Sagani, a fourth-generation captain who has worked for Princess Cruises for 25 years. Popular crew member Scott Grayson returns as the ship's hotel services engineer, with the new series revealing he has recently become a father to a baby girl.
Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises' vice president UK and Europe, said: "We’re delighted that Princess Cruises will once again feature in The Cruise series on ITV, which offers viewers a wonderful glimpse into the wealth of experiences for our guests both onboard and ashore, and the daily lives of our dedicated crew.
"We can’t wait for the series to transport viewers to exotic Asia and the stunning landmark locations of Australia and New Zealand on Majestic Princess."
Providing the voiceover for the series is actor Anthony Head, who is known for playing Rupert Giles in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and for his role as Geoffrey Howe in Oscar winning film, The Iron Lady.
Majestic Princess joined the Princess fleet in 2017 and is the line's largest vessel, offering a mix of sailings out of Sydney, Auckland and Brisbane through March 2019, when it will move to Hong Kong then Taiwan.
