(4 p.m. GMT) -- Saga Cruises' first new-build cruise ship, Spirit of Discovery, is set to go all-inclusive from winter 2019 -- two months earlier than originally planned.

All-inclusive sailings begin with the 14-night Spanish Islands of the Atlantic voyage, which departs Southampton on November 4, 2019.

Drinks (house spirits, wine, beer and soft drinks), tips, specialty restaurants, 24-hour room service and Wi-Fi will be included, as will a chauffeur to and from the cruise port for passengers based within 250-miles.

Shore excursions will be charged at an additional cost, though Saga will provide a complimentary shuttle bus in ports where the town is more than 500 yards from the ship.

The 999-passenger ship -- set to be christened in Dover on July 5 -- will feature 540 all-balcony cabins and suites -- with 100 rooms specifically designed for solo passengers. Other features include two specialty restaurants, a main dining room and a Britannia Lounge, two swimming pools, a theatre, a library, a spa and a beauty salon.

Saga confirmed in September 2018 that sister ship, Spirit of Adventure, will also be all-inclusive when it joins the fleet in August 2020.

Spirit of Discovery will replace Saga Pearl II in 2019; Spirit of Adventure will replace Saga Sapphire the following year.
