(11:40 a.m. EDT) -- Silversea Cruises is offering lucky cruisers on two of its December sailings exclusive -- and complimentary -- shore experiences, including a private concert from Australian tenor Mark Vincent.

The first of these shore excursions will take place during Silver Muse's two-week sailing from Sydney to Auckland. On December 8, during a port call to Melbourne, tenor Mark Vincent will take to the stage at the city's main concert venue to perform exclusively for Silversea passengers.

The second will be a Silversea beach cocktail party on December 10 in Castries, St. Lucia, during Silver Wind's nine-night sailing between San Juan and Ft. Lauderdale. The event will take place at the Pigeon National Landmark and will include steel drum music, performances from stilt walkers and fire-eaters, an evening bonfire, and, of course, food and drink.

"We are delighted to expand our shore-side offering on these two voyages further, by unlocking these exclusive new experiences for our guests," said Adria Bono, Silversea's senior director of destination experiences.

Though not the first time Silversea has offered complimentary shore excursions, a spokesperson for the line said the line hopes to increase the frequency of such offerings.
