I was excited to sail on the new Prima. She had only been sailing a few months when I took my cruise last November 2022. I booked through CAS and upgraded to a Balcony. I traveled solo and met up with the other solo travelers on the first night. They were about 25 to 30 people and our solo host helped us with reservations. We ate together 2 of the nights. I met my new cruising buddy and we are ...
We chose this cruise to sail with friends. Enjoying their company throughout Thanksgiving week was the highlight of the trip. Overall, the ship is profoundly unappealing. Service was mediocre but got the job done. NCL changed our reserved cabin to an inferior location before sailing with NO notification to either us or our travel agent. I was advised that it was done by their internal ...
Overall this was a great cruise for me. First time using a Solo room. I was really happy with the Solo room and space. Definitely my new preferred way to travel so I don't have to worry about finding a friend to go on a cruise with me when I go with other friends.
I had the best bartenders ever on this one. I had some really good ones before on NCL cruises. But the ones working at the whiskey ...
I’m writing this review 5 days into the cruise vacation before it’s even ends, because I’ve had enough from it.
It’s a new ship, so it’s super clean, no doubt about that.
The design is so beautiful, we loved the interior of our balcony cabins (connecting). However, the balcony faces the infinity pool directly, so no privacy whatsoever, shame we didn’t know about it in advance.
Quality of ...
We were looking for a ship with a thermal spa. Wound up with a Haven Spa suite on the Escape. We can't say enough about the elevated level of service. From the avoidance of the long lines to board the ship to the personal butler service that attended to all our needs. Renson was our butler and seemed to always be in eyesight in case anything was needed. He was awesome. The private Haven Lounge ...
I have never written a review before but felt the need to share my thoughts and what people told me on the cruise. I was on the thanksgiving week sailing in the haven. This was the first cruise on the prima at completely full capacity (3500 people with 500 kids). I was extremely excited to try the Prima, and I had been on 2 previous cruises this year with NCL (Joy- Haven, Bliss- Club Balcony). ...
Overall, a wonderful cruise.
Biggest complaints: they hold their most popular entertainment in small venues where hundreds of people are turned away. The comedians and the rock band specifically. You need to stand in line well over an hour to have any chance of getting a seat. On the other hand, their "stage shows" held in the big Broadway Theatre were not well attended because they were 1) ...
I choose this cruise because I wanted to take my husband on a short trip for his birthday, but the experience was like a nightmare.
It first started with trusting what they advertise about with all the free stuff that they offer. But be extra aware of the fine prints, we ended up paying double the price on board just to have fun
Second, from the first night while sleeping, in the middle of ...
Chose this cruise to use up credit from cancelled cruise during Covid. Use it or lose it situation. This cruise was more expensive than the one that was cancelled.
The new terminal in Miami is beautiful but the embarkation was not well done at all. The number system was not successful at all with people crowding the door to get in before their number was called.
First of all the positive. ...
The jewel was impeccably clean, and well maintained despite its age. The crew were all very friendly, super helpful. There were activities all over the ship at all hours of the day and a show inside the Stardust theatre every night. No matter if it was a port day or sea day, there was never a dull moment.
During this Nov sailing, the ship was more than half empty. I suspect because most kids ...
