This cruise was a wonderful way to see European cities, Azores and Bermuda. Also it was fun to not have to fly back from Europe to the U.S.
The ship is older but in great shape and the crew and all staff seemed to be very experienced and friendly.
The cruise line excursions were well done and had a nice range of prices.
Freestyle dinning worked out well. The ship also had a crepe making ...
We were 4 people in 3 balcony cabins on Deck 10. The cruise was chosen principally for the fantastic ports, other than Port Canaveral, which was added so they could load on all of the equipment for the Kiss cruise charter immediately following ours. By doing so they had to adjust our times in Bermuda making it very difficult to actually tour the island.
Embarkation was very fast and ...
Chose this Oct 14-30 transatlantic cruise because of all the great ports. The itinerary and $6,000 price did not make up for the terrible food regardless of where you ate, small, poorly cleaned cabins, insufficient and poor gym equipment, disorganized disembarkation, ridiculous unnecessary extra charges, and practically non-existent quality entertainment. Other than 2 decent meals and 2 nights of ...
This was a birthday gift from me to me with Love. October 26th I was in beautiful Bermuda!
I chose this cruise because the price was right, the itinerary Was great. I wanted to see as many places as possible
My criticism is about the food. I had an expectation of wonderful fresh ingredients from Italy being served since that is where we were leaving from.
The food tasted frozen, stale, ...
As a first time on a transatlantic, we chose NCL and Pearl based on the itinerary and were not disappointed. The food was good, we did not use the speciality restaurants as we found the MDR o’Sheehans, and buffet met our expectations. We were disappointed in the small number of production shows but found enough on the ship to be entertained. The crew are exceptional, a special thank you to ...
The Cruise itinerary was fantastic. We stopped at ports in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and Bermuda. Our visits to all were very good. San Miguel island in the Azores especially was terrific. We also like that NCL allows travelers to bring wine on board with a $15 per bottle corkage fee. This was a big factor for us because the allegedly free liquor package in our program was not free. ...
Wanted to do a Transatlantic and the ports of call were great! The staff was friendly enough but the ship was a complete let down! Dirty smelly cabin and everywhere I sat the seats were dirty and very uncomfortable! Food was just ok never really hot. Bedspread was torn and had seen better days! Throw pillows in our cabin smelled and were stained as well as the throw they put at the bottom of the ...
Ncl provided the lowest grade of food possible whenever they could. Poor grades of meat & fish in main ding rooms and buffet. The menus were very limited in both dining rooms and buffet. Wait staff was mostly inattentive and poorly trained. This was certainly not the type of service we have come to expect after 51 cruises!
The weather was bad (not ncl's fault) so all outside venues were closed, ...
The first day aboard, I was pleasantly surprised. Our inside cabin was nicer than expected. My sister and I had plenty of room and the bathroom had a lovely shower. Our steward was excellent during the whole cruise. However, it went down hill fast. We were notified on the 2nd day that a virus was discovered on board. By the 4th day everything in the Buffet was covered with plastic and we had ...
I chose this cruise because it left from New York, a city I love & was going east, one of my firsts, having done 2 TAs from Europe.
Another first was the roll call which was quite active but toxic sometimes. Never been on a roll call before where posts were removed!!
I had hoped to finally visit the Guggenheim Museum while in NYC but that didn't happen, instead I lined up around the block to ...
