Great Itinerary/Uneven Ship Service

Review for a Asia Cruise on Nautica

The cruise had a fabulous itinerary and we chose it for that. We were not disappointed. The cruise was amazing and the ports were phenomenal. Everything was interesting and easily explored. Sometimes we had to travel a distance from port to the points of interest but that is often to be expected with a cruise. We could not have been more pleased with the choice of ports. We arranged for ...

An amazing journey, an amazing ship, an amazing staff

We chose this cruise primarily because of the itinerary and it did not disappoint. We made all our own tour arrangements at each port so I can not comment on the ships tours. Our room was fantastic and the service bar none. We found all the amenities great. We especially liked the Terrace Cafe just because of its variety of selection and casual atmosphere. We did enjoy Toscanas food as well, ...

The cruise was generally excellent mainly because of the the variety of food, the service, the gym and running track, and the itinerary. I will not go into detail on those factors because you can read about them in numerous other reviews. Instead, I will discuss a few deficiencies aboard Nautica and suggest some ways to overcome them so that they will not interfere with your enjoyment of the ...

We chose this cruise for ports and because there was bridge. Embarkation was easy; disembarkation was chaos. We were given times to disembark in groups. Repeated announcements said Indian officials were not ready, but did not tell later groups to wait. Group after group added to the crowd. The ship was lovely, the cabin spacious, though we had a penthouse suite, which was actually a room with ...

Nautica, tired ship lacking soul and direction!

Chose for itinerary, time of year and previous Oceania Experience. Oceania however changed itinerary dropping disembarkation port of Istanbul and day in Ephesus. Added Rhodes, Santorini and disembark in Athens, areas we have previously explored for weeks. Oceania made no attempt to offer compensation for our already privately booked Istanbul expenses such as business class air tickets, 5 nights of ...

This was our first Oceania Cruise. We picked it because of the itinerary Istanbul to Athens. Pros: We loved the smaller cruise ship with less then 700 passengers. Pick-up at the airport was prompt. Check-in and out was a breeze.Entertainment was Ok, nothing special due to the size of the lounge. The hot tubs were great temperature, we did not use the pool or the spa. Dining was excellent as we ...

Good trip overall.

This was only the second cruise that we have taken since we have always traveled independently in the past. Our first cruise was also with Oceania, but on the Riviera. I realize that it's not fair to compare the Nautica with the Riviera which is brand new and wonderful, so I won't. We spent extra days in Barcelona before boarding our ship and all went smoothly. Our stateroom was just fine, ...
