We chose this, our first Oceania cruise, because we wanted the itinerary, the smaller ship, and the advertised educational talks. The advertised 'best food on the ocean' was a perk, but was not necessary for us. This is what happened:
Oceania didn’t provide nearly enough excursions. A whole busload of us, through our Roll Call, finally booked excursions with the only company we could get 3 ...
In my opinion: Avoid this cruise and Oceania for the following reasons: 1) horrible crowd management - 2 hour lines shoulder to shoulder for onboard immigration process; 2) bad excursion experience overall - booked, some bad guides, insufficient coverage of areas, problem with availability, 3) some excellent and some very rude and inexperienced staff. In my opinion there are much better ...
This was not our first cruise with Oceania and after a fantastic experience in Tahiti, we couldn't wait to go back. This experience however, was quite different.
Our stateroom (A4), public spaces, etc., were lovely and comfortable, and the specialty restaurants were very good. The buffet and the Grand Dining Room however, went downhill compared to the previous cruise,
Where Oceania let us ...
In total, we have cruised @. 40 times to most corners of the world.
This was our second time with Oceania..... and our last.
We booked directly and our only contact was with the cruise consultant who took the booking. Any questions, and there were several regarding air, guest services etc were directed to him, but he could only pass the questions up the chain.
We paid the fee ( higher ...

I chose the 20 night trip from Mumbai to Singapore, especially looking forward to revisiting the Maldives, and generally having tours which gave experiences out of the norm. I particularly wanted to treat myself to some top-notch cuisine. Oh dear, what a mistake.
There were good points. The cabin was usual size, clean, comfortable. Storage fine for one person, but inadequate for two. BUT ...
Read reviews and think thrice before booking an Oceania cruise.
We booked the Goddesses to Gondolas cruise because of the pleasurable experience we previously had on (pre-Covid) Oceania, and we wanted to try out the newly-refurbished Riviera.
We booked this cruise more than a year before the sailing because we were told by our travel agent that these cruises sell out fast. If we had the ...
We were looking forward to getting back into cruising for a long time and the prospect of cruising on the Oceania we had come to love was very exciting.
We booked a 28 day B2B cruise of the Norway and UK starting 5th August 2023 from Oslo.
First impressions.
The ship looked great. We had only sailed on the Marina previously.
Boarding - was efficient and we were herded onboard quickly ...
We choose to try Oceania after having done a number of Azamara cruises because we’d heard Oceania/Rivera was a little more upmarket, great food, better cruise experience despite Oceania being more expensive than the comparable Azamara for a midship upgraded cabin. It started well, boarding experience good, cabin shower/bathroom space a plus. Then to the cafe area - always overcrowded & made worse ...
This was our first and Last Oceania cruise. We chose this itinerary specifically for the port intensive itinerary and the excursions. It was two British isles cruises put together sailing from the 11-29 June2023. The cruise was sold out. I did verify that the first segment had 1,168 passengers and the second segment was oversold so they would only tell me that there were over 1250 passengers on ...
