Incredible New Year Celebration with the festive food and drinks

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Riviera

Joined the cruise just before the New Year and was impressed by the decoration and food variety. On NY’s eve, we were invited to the poolside party to join the music and dance before count down. The ice sculpture and costumes were free to enjoy and wear. Passengers were all dressed up in the event to cheer for the New year’s arrival. After a late night, we were welcomed by an incredible Buffet ...

Pros: Specialty restaurants had great food and service Entertainment and variety excellent Art courses terrific teachers and classes Cons: they cancelled 7 ports with no refunds of loss port, port fees, VISA fees etc. Terrible we have done over 70 cruises and plan on doing many more but will never use them again. Their policy has changed and any cruise line we have taken has ...

We selected this cruise as it called at ports we wanted to visit particularly Oman. Sadly, the war put an end to 4 out of 8 ports of call. Whilst we appreciate this was unfortunate & understood, we were not offered any acceptable alternatives as we had paid for business class flights to Dubai so cancelling was not an option. Also, if you cancelled you lost 25% of the amount paid & the remaining ...

We're seasoned cruisers with over 30 cruises on most of the major cruiselines but not Oceania. We went on 3 Oceania Riviera cruises in 2023, Sep/Oct from Amsterdam to Barcelona and then back to back cruises in Nov/Dec from Barcelona to Istanbul and then Istanbul to Dubai. My review is on all 3 cruises on the same ship. We booked the Holyland & Middle East cruise the first day it was available ...

Cruise to No Where!

So so incredibly disappointed with Oceania. Absolutely no guest/customer service. Have raised all issues with onboard team, Oceania guest relations and still no communication back. This cruise is going no where, no ports now for 9 days, even restaurants closed on some nights so no choice and tonight all specialty restaurants closed and only Grand Dining and Terrace cafe open. As to onboard ...

Classy and good value, but a bit inflexible

This was our first Oceania trip, after having sailed with Carnival, NCL and Azamara before. We chose this cruise mostly due to the itinerary, and after checking Oceania's reputation we expected Oceania to be similar to Azamara, which we had liked a lot. Oceania delivered in most cases, failed in others. Check-in and embarkation: We showed up relatively late for check-in (4 pm), later than ...

Smaller ship with a feeling of space

Embarkation and disembarkation procedures are rigidly adhered to at the start and end of the trip and are handled well. Though we arrived earlier than suggested, the ship's crew accommodated all arrivals well. The best thing is that the ship's decor is most impressive. The restaurant facilities and food do not disappoint, though Oceania's food offering is not overly more or less than what is ...
