We have been on many cruises. First time on Royal Caribbean. Worse, boring, and not friendly Cruise ever!! No entertainment on the pool area deck. The DJ was terrible in the Viking Lodge ,stopped the music, and turned on all bright lights every time someone spilt a drop or dropped a drink. The centerium area of the boat was mostly dead and the bar was design were your back was to entertainment ...

Older ship with more character than a new one!

Embarkation was easy with the KEY program. We arrived around 11am and were brought right onto the ship even though our rooms weren't ready until about 1pm. I bid and won on the Royal Up program and was upgraded from Ocean View to a Balcony Cabin the night before we left! The cabin itself was a balcony (7160) at the aft end of the side of the ship. It was the perfect balcony as it seemed more ...

Let me start by saying we are not fussy cruisers. My wife and I take most things in stride. If your looking for a brand new ship then cruise in a new ship. This one shows her age BUT....we had a great time. This was our 40th wedding anniversary and we were joined by my wife's twin sister and her husband doing their 38th anniversary (kids lol). We have cruised most ship from Oasis class down. We ...

I choose this cruise because of the destination and the pictures on the web. However, I quickly found out that this boat was not at all how it looked on the site. The paint was peeling on the wall of the boat inside and out. Crew was painting areas of the boat throughout the trip. The boat had nothing exciting to do. The arcade only had 4 games. It was the size of a closet. The pool was over run ...

We chose Royal Caribbean based of off the vibrant brochure and commercials we wanted to go on a cruise thought wld be full of excitement. First off our room was incredibly small the shower was very small the shower head would fall off and the water didn't go down the drain completely which left it with a uncomfortable smell. The bed is like sleeping on the floor extremely painful to sleep on. Dont ...

We loved our cruise on Enchantment of the Seas! We were so completely happy with everything and do not have a single complaint!! We are already thinking about our next possible cruise vacation. It really felt like an excellent value for our family ... there were 9 of us including 4 children ages 10-17. We had 3 interior cabins on deck 2, slept 3 in each and were very happy with our ...

We booked this cruise through the RC website, along with a Universal Orlando package. First two days were at Universal, lodging at the Hard Rock Hotel. All transportation was provided. I only mention this to say the communication aspect was kind of poor. We didn’t really get detailed instructions for the first part of the trip and had to figure things out as we went. I am comparing this to how a ...

My husband and I have never been on a cruise before. There is not enough communication by the ship or crew. We didn't know the first thing about cruising and or the charges. This was the most expensive vacation we have every been on we suffered charges after charges. Would you like internet? charge... would you like a better dinner than the buffet? charge. Would you like to do something when ...

Great cruise with wife and 19 year old daughter

I booked this cruise at the last minute, about a month before it departed as a short spring break trip for my wife and daughter who is a freshman in college. My wife and I hadn't been on a cruise in over 25 years and weren't sure what to expect or how our daughter would enjoy it, however, a good time was had by all. Getting on and off the ship was really easy. We arrived at the ship about 5 ...

This cruise was to celebrate our mom's birthday. I booked us a junior suite which she loved. The rest of the family had interior rooms. The suite was beautiful however I only saw our room attendent once and that was because I hunted him down to ask for more towels, ice, coffee pods for coffee pot and menus for breakfast room service. These items are typically provided automatically. Water bottles ...
