Great Mexican Riviera cruise for young couple
"My boyfriend and I chose this cruise in particular because it left from LA (where we both live) and the price was right. I've cruised on Princess before, but it's been almost exactly 10 years so I was interested to..."Read More

I enjoyed the 7 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera the year before and wanted to take the Princess cruise that visited La Paz & Loreto-both were great and a new experience. Would visit again-very clean and the people were very friendly. The beds are super! The service aboard was great. Our waiters, Segundo & Nickolai were friendly, fun and the service was outstanding. Embarkation was the best ...

We just got back from Ruby Princess's ten day Los Angeles to Los Angeles cruise of the "Mexican Riviera." For locals in Southern California, this itinerary is hard to beat for a quick, inexpensive, relaxing getaway vacation. Stops are: 2-days in Cabo San Lucas; a day each in La Paz, Loreto, and Puerto Vallarta. Add in two at-sea days to get there, an at-sea day to get to P.V., and two more ...

A quick day cruise to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico... The ship was recently refurbed/drydocked and left to the traditional look of "The Love Boat"... really nice touch. Some of the best ... and worst... entertainment I have ever seen on a cruise ship....(worst-magician...best-production dancers in the showroom) Some of the best ... and worst... food I have ever had on a cruise ship (worse-2 ...

A Great Cruise But It Could Have Been Better

My wife and I have sailed this itinerary twice before this cruise. It is our favorite because of the port stop of Loreto. A small, beautiful and fun town. The town entertains ship folks in the central plaza with singers and dancers. A little cantina next to the plaza has the best carne-asada nachos we have ever had. The margaritas are good also! We embarked on 18 Feb 2019 which is a couple of ...

The safety drill at the beginning of the cruise was supppper easy. All we had to do was go to our designated muster drill area, scan our key card, and sit down. We no longer have to bring our life jackets.  Pros: - Food! My first time attending this cruise back in 2017, I honestly couldn't find anything I liked in the main dining room ("MDR"). But I can confidently say, I loved every dish I ...

Needed a quick getaway and this seemed like a great cruise. I love sea days, and with this itinerary you get two sea days and an overnight in Cabo San Lucas. My first cruise on the Pacific side and I enjoyed it. Check-in and boarding the ship was easy and quick. Friendly check-in agents too. My first time sailing on Ruby and it's a nice ship. Recently refurbished and it looks great. New ...

We were looking for a honeymoon cruise that we could drive to and still have warm weather. Since we live in Southern California, the Mexican Riviera fit the bill. Boarding was a breeze. We parked across the street from the ship and were on board in no time. Check -in was efficient and stress-free. The Ruby was recently updated and it showed. The ship was immaculate and looked very modern ...

I needed some cruise credits in my quest for Elite status, so I booked this 5 day trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico out of San Pedro, California and traveled solo. I'm 56 and married now for the past three years, so I don't usually get to go by myself anymore. Embarkation was flawless. I was very surprised not to have to wait in a "holding tub room" and within 10 minutes I was on the ship. Our ...

This cruise was just at the right time, went to a few ports that we have not visited yet and was priced right. This was our first cruise on Princess and we were anxious to see how it compared. First impression was that it was a beautiful ship, fairly easy to figure out where to go and how to get there and had a good mix of cruisers...young, middle aged and seniors. Our first day we decided to ...

We chose this cruise about 6 weeks beforehand as we were looking for a winter getaway. I was looking at a few different options and I am very pleased with the choice we made. Starting with embarkation, the tone was set. Really efficient and seamless - we got our luggage quickly and from port to ship was fast and all staff were friendly! Although it was not perfect (what is?) there were so many ...
