We had a great time on the cruise. I am diabetic and was happy to see sugar free desserts. I love my coffee and was glad to see the expresso being served. My wife is not fond of sweet desserts and was glad to have so much fresh fruit available. All of the staff were so nice and caring, always willing to help. I was really impressed with them all; waitstaff, housekeeping and the crew. Our ...

Still a great ship

We decided to return to Alaska and have been on the Ruby princess before. From the Captain to Stewards everyone was spectacular. We were celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, and Father's day. Cannot say enough good things about the staff. The food on this ship was better than other ships in the same fleet. With exception of the dessert specialty or otherwise - all the desserts we tried were ...

This was our first cruise with Princess, and my second cruise ever (the first cruise was with Carnival in 2005). Re traveled aboard the Ruby Princess, to the Pacific Northwest. The ship is extremely seaworthy and very beautiful. I have read a lot of negative reviews prior to the cruise, and wanted to post a different review to ease concerns others reading these reviews may have. My only ...

Only cruise line available which sails directly from San Francisco. Really good food on board. Really friendly staff, they really are the back bone of cruise ship. Room services I had3 issues with orders, never arrived after ordering. When I call3d guest services attempting to get account charges for services Removed? Not able to get it reversed. The fo9d on cruise was so good, with high quality ...

The staff made the cruise great!

We choose this cruise because our dad wanted to see Alaska, Juno and Glacier Bay. We sailed on this same ship in 2016 on a Mexican Rivera cruise. The ship is dated and needs updates. The itinerary is wonderful and perfect. The staff is what made this cruise a truly wonderful experience. Prior to the cruise, I had great difficulty using the website, the chat option and the customer service ...

Went with a friend who uses a cane and the elevators were timely and efficient. Had perfect weather in Juneau, Ketchikan, Icy Straight Point. Prince Rupert was a bit rainy but the shops were excellent! The dining room had excellent fresh bread at every meal and all dishes were good to excellent with a broad variety. Excellent coffee in International Cafe with many selections, ...

We had an inside cabin on the Ruby. The cabin was cramped but had a separate private storage area around the bathroom, which was nice. The food onboard was amazing. The buffet was small but had plenty of options for food. However, there were not that many free juices in the beverage area of the buffet. All 3 main dining rooms were very nice and had delicious food and waiters. The specialty ...

June 19-29, 2022 This was a 10-day cruise roundtrip from San Francisco to Alaska, aboard the Ruby Princess. This was my 7th cruise on Princess, 17th cruise overall, but first since Covid and first on the Ruby. We had bus transportation from our travel agent from Sacramento to the ship – it’s nice not having to worry about driving or parking (or paying for parking), nor having to worry ...

Alaska has always been on my bucket list and this seemed like the perfect time to go. The ship is beautiful , the food is plentiful and the staff is the best of the best. There were a few hiccups during embarkation but once we boarded the ship our adventure began. Ranger John is fantastic and his presentations were so informative, from whales to bears to volcanos he has experienced it all. ...

10-day round trip from San Francisco to Alaska. It’s our favorite cruise. Highly recommend it! For us, don’t have to fly anywhere, three days more at sea rather than flying. I’ve recommended it to people that would need to fly to the cruise ship anyway and told them to spend time in San Francisco and/of California. Princess is the only cruise line cruising out of San Francisco. This cruise is ...
