While the ship and sailing company were chosen for us, as this originally started as big group/family trip, I wouldn't have chosen any other for our first cruise experience. I choose the cruise based on a lot of ports and few sea days. Found out that that was no shuttle from the train station to the ship. Had to walk a half mile with my cane leading the way. Our room was under the bridge and was very drafty with wind coming in around the balcony door most of the trip. It was next to impossible at every port to get a wheelchair for disembarking the ship. Restaurants: special dinning was not worth the price. the food was not great quality and served warm. The servers were very good and tried their best to assist.
The meat in Cagney's was extremely poor quality and stringy. The main dinning room turned out to be better than the special restaurants (disappointing)

Very good cruise and experience. To see the fall colors was spectacular and the daily tours were well organized and wonderful.
We ate in the specialty restaurants 6 nights of the 13, and the Cafe other nights. We also enjoyed O'Sheenans for lunches.
Originally from upstate NY, we just had never been to the provinces, except Quebec. They were delightful and all so different.

Very disappointing cruise. Not the agenda but the overall vibe and feel of the experience. This was our 4th NCL cruise and will be our last. We are not big eaters, but enjoy a "snack" before going to bed. The buffet, under title "24/7", closed at 10:30.
