19th cruise with Cunard and very impressed.
Le Harve & Rotterdam
From embarkation onwards was great.
Dining in QG with Deepak and MJ as our waiters. They were friendly and professional.
Ordered off menu a few times (seafood cocktail; various lobster dishes; rum baba and baked Alaska) and no issues at all.
Butler was lovely and you could set you watch with her canapé delivery ...
We chose Cunard because it was named as a Northern Lights Cruise. We wanted to see Norway, Northern Lights and Viking Villages.
The Cunard transfers to get to the ship and back were seamless. Great flights, the shuttle service was on time and accommodating both directions. The ship onboard and offboard process was seamless and easy.
The cabin steward and purser staff were very helpful and ...
We had a fabulous time on this Northern Lights cruise and readers can look up my Live From thread on the Cunard boards for more detail.
We sail with a toddler which is unusual for Cunard but their kids club is great. Our child is under 2 so we have to remain with her in the kids club during the day but between 6 and 11pm, they put out travel cots and you can leave your sleeping child while you ...
Several years I started a series of blogs relating our adventures[and misadventures] of cruising with someone who has walking difficulties ie my husband.
For anonymity I call him 6.
You may remember the 70s series about Steve Austin an astronaut who was severely injured and rebuilt with bionics to the tune of 6 million dollars.
Well as a result of Rheumatoid arthritis hitting him in his ...
Pros: Booking in and boarding ship was very well organised, and we had no issues. Elegant ship in good repair with all of the facilities you would wish for. Excellent food at all levels and entertainment which caters for all. Cabin steward was attentive efficient and friendly. Public areas very clean and Queens Room especially very elegant and used a lot for dancing and concerts. Theater ...

We departed Southampton and followed Norwegian Prima out of the port and into the English Channel. This seven night cruise was the third and final part of our "Three Cunard Queens" holiday and took us to the majestic fjords of southern Norway.
This ship is in great shape and the interior is opulent and elegant throughout. We noticed that exterior handrails were very weathered and required ...
Trip 12 days Norway - not fjords as advertised as we skirted the coast.
Pros: First time on Cunard and personally we loved the actual ship and the crew. Our steward was very attentive, nothing was a problem, thank you John. The staff in the dining room and Lido also very attentive and polite. We only took in one show which was very enjoyable. Lovely string trio. Food was in abundance. Only ...
Chose this cruise as a quick getaway with my father. The ship itself is beautiful and a testament to great ship design. It’s not the most modern ship but internally in decent shape, cabins nice and well appointed if not they do lack electrical outlets and other modern touches.
As per other reviews, boarding was an odd affair with people held I. The terminal and boarded by seat row. Terminal ...
Cruise and the service provided I would rate just about good enough, though there is absolutely no margin.
Brittania Club worth the extra money. Great setting, relaxed and not rushed. Plenty of choice.
Entertainment was adequate. Repeated mediocre singer and decayed comedian again budget affected. Singing group were very good. Plenty of room in well-appointed auditorium.
Ample room on ...
