Five star cruise on the Grandeur

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Grandeur

We were on the Grandeur for a 16 night cruise from Miami to the southern Caribbean then up the Charleston, SC and New York City. Overall, it was a wonderful cruise. The highlight of the cruise was the dining experience. All the dining venues offered delicious food and very good service. Natasha and Monique were seemingly everywhere in the restaurants and helped make the experience as good as it ...

Far from what we expected from 6 Star Cruise Line.

It all started when we arrived in Miami from Knoxville, TN. The Regent representative was amply notified of my requirement to utilize a mobility scooter. I was completely transparent about the scooter by sending the specification sheet that shows all the necessary weight, height and width of the equipment. At the MIA airport, which is far from my favorite, the Regent reps led us to the shuttle ...

Gorgeous ship, wonderful crew

Our Regent experience was pure luxury from the moment we boarded our included first-class flight to Miami, to the beautiful Biltmore Hotel pre-cruise stay included in the price, and the transfers to and from the airports to hotel to ship and back. I thoroughly enjoyed paying one price before the cruise, and then didn't pay a single penny more from the time we arrived at the airport. We even ...

Great Experience on the Regent Seven Seas Grandeur

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Seven Seas Grandeur

My wife and I are relatively new to cruising having taken just two cruises before this one. This was our first time on a premium line like Regent. We had a blast! First, the ship. It is only a few months old and it is simply magnificent. Every detail was well thought out and well executed. The focal point of the ship is the cental atrium which is an elegant multi-story space where all the ...

Getting on in years and wanted to try what some considered the best in cruising. So we booked a Grand Suite on the new Regent Grandeur. We are the type of cruiser that no longer bothers getting off any ship. And as Will Rogers said "The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for." Well get use to standing in line on Regent Seven Seas. For those willing to splurge $30,000 for a ...

Great Premium Cruise with one big flaw

My husband wanted a find a cruise in January, and this was among the few available on such a short period. Grandeur is a new ship, only four months in service, and it is all glitz and bling. All rooms are suites, and our room was spacious, had a walk in closet, and good separation from the sitting and sleeping area. I love having a bathtub on a cruise, and the one in our bathroom ( with a ...

We will never do a large cruise ship again!

We have always cruised the larger lines, Disney, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity. The Grandeur was our first premium luxury, smaller ship cruise and since the ship is new, this was only the 10th voyage it has made. It is more expensive, but the experience is worth it. If you sign up for the hotel the night before, they put you in Trump Doral, west of Miami Airport. I think that is a huge mistake ...

This was our first Regent cruise and it lived up to all our expectations and more..... From the moment we stepped on board we knew it was going to be Special. A bottle of champagne on ice and a beautiful white orchid on the table awaited us in our cabin. The attention to detail with the ships decor was exceptional. Beautiful fresh flower arrangements were in all the Public areas and ...

Destination Services needs some work

Seven Seas Splendor is a newer ship with a lot of good facilities, food and staff, however the destination services staff had a lot of issues on our cruise. First, they had no personality and when you went to their desk they gave the attitude they could care less. They also messed up the tour ticket distribution for about 1/2 the tickets on the second part of our cruise. They also provided no ...

We echo the sentiments of many other cruisers who cruised Regent prior to the pandemic: it is simply NOT the same experience. You could summarize by saying that it’s uneven at best. Here is why: PROS: best cabin experience ever…level E cabin. Super comfy bed facing window, tons of storage, spacious bathroom, wonderful lighting and sizeable balcony. Cabin attendants attentive and professional ...
