Cabins range from Interior cabins with no windows to Grand Suites, graded accorded to size and position on the ship. Despite the ship's maturity, cabins have aged exceptionally well showing little sign of wear and tear.

All cabins include two single beds -- separated or pushed together to form a Queen double -- bedside tables, desk, chair, mini fridge, wardrobe space with safe inside, tea and coffee-making facilities. All cabins feature a bedside or desk telephone and wall-mounted TV, though neither the phone or TV were in working order on our sailing.

All bathrooms feature a shower, w/c and sink. Basic toiletries of a hand and body wash are included, along with a hairdryer. All bathrooms offer some -- albeit limited -- storage around the sink area and corner shelving.

The ship's Grand Suites offer two pull-down single beds in the living area, providing space for up to four passengers.

There are just four cabins onboard, all Outside cabins, suitable for wheelchair users. Two can be found on Deck 8 and two on Deck 9.

Marella offers a Premium Service which is an added extra with Deluxe cabins. The Premium Service includes a free pressing service (up to three items per person in the first 24 hours onboard), one free room service Continental breakfast per person, per week, and express check in that is subject to availability.

Interior: Inside cabins feature on Decks 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10, measuring 12-13 sqm. Inside cabins on Deck 6 & 7 feature upper berths for a third and fourth person that can be folded away.

Oceanview: Outside cabins are located on Decks 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 and measure 12-15 sqm. Some of the larger Outside cabins feature a shower over a bath in the bathroom. All Outside cabins feature either a porthole or rectangular window.

Outside Plus cabins are located on Decks 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 – located in the midship – and are all 15-16 sqm with a bathroom featuring a shower over the bath.

Deluxe Outside cabins include Premium Service and can accommodate up to three people, offering 20 sqm of space on Deck 9. There’s also a roomy lounge area with a desk, sofa bed, table and chairs. Bathrooms featuring a shower over the bath, bathrobes and Clarins travel size toiletries are also provided.

Single Outside cabins, featuring a single bed, are available for solo travellers on Decks 4, 5, 7, 9 and 10.

Balcony: The ship’s 10 Balcony cabins are located towards the aft on Deck 8, by the kids’ clubs. One is offered as a solo cabin. All Balcony cabins include Premium Service.

Suite: The ship’s five suites are on Deck 7, all 35 sqm, and include Premium Service. There’s a separate living area with large windows, two sofas and a glass coffee table. There’s a walk-in wardrobe, robes and DVD player. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, but no tub. Clarins travel-size toiletries are also provided. These cabins are well suited to families because of the extra space that caters for two extra berths.

Grand Suite: Located on Deck 11, the six Grand Suites are the ship’s prized cabins. With 40 sqm of space, a balcony, separate living, dining and bedroom areas with separate flatscreen TVs, walk-in wardrobe, robes,

two sofas and a DVD player. In the bathroom, there’s a shower over a whirlpool bath with the added Clarins toiletries. Foldaway upper berths can accommodate up to four passengers. Grand Suite passengers also receive Premium Service.
