1-10 of 128 Royal Caribbean Rhapsody of the Seas Family Cruises Cruise Reviews
RC once was the premier in cruise lines, from food quality to ship excellence. Rhapsody was without proper maintenance, rust throughout, banisters sadly worn and chipped, paint sloppily administered with many many paint drips on stairways, jogging track and walkways. Lounge areas have many many upholstered chairs worn down to the wood. Embarrassing. 2 star old hotel appearance.

My wife and I have cruised before with Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and NCL, but this is our last time cruising with Royal Caribbean. Here’s why: (1) SMOKING: Too many times we had to put up with the smell from people smoking on the ship. Other cruise lines/ships do a better job limiting where smoking is allowed. (2) THE FOOD: The quality of the food and number of selections offered did not measure ...
We were on the wrong ship! This was an "oldies" cruise! Most of the entertainment was designed for an OLDER crowd! Lots of "oldies" and Oldie Trivia, Bingo and Ballroom type dancing. But that was probably because there were mostly ODER passengers. There were so many walkers, wheelchairs, scooters, and canes in use on this ship. I really wish my travel agent had told me about that!

We chose this cruise for the itinerary but were ultimately disappointed with the destinations as the experience was spoiled by ridiculous numbers of tourists, despite it being towards the end of the season. The cabins were fine although the curtains were in dire need of replacing. In general the ship looked tired. The ship was generally very clean and our cabin was spotless thanks to our excellent ...
The cruise was a treat for myself, my wife and Son (21).
It started off great with a gentle cruise out of Venice capturing the views of let’s face it, stunning architecture. With purchased the all inclusive drinks package. Again what we expected no hidden nightmares.

First, let me say we very much like Royal Caribbean and have sailed on 7 of their ships, many more than once. Everything about our April, 2019 Western Caribbean outing aboard Rhapsody was wonderful, ship's crew, specialty restaurants, main dinning food and service, casino, cabin and steward.....everything EXCEPT the extreme vibration in our cabin (JS 8596 - aft starboard corner). We love aft ...
First of all I would like to start by commending the staff. They were great and provided excellent service for us. Our destinations were great. We really enjoyed the white sand and clear water. The food in the main dining room was also great!
This was our second cruise on Rhapsody and our third cruise on a vision class boat. Every year they are becoming less entertaining for our kids as the ...
We did the 2018-19 New Years cruise. There was a group of 10 of us who have all cruised before with Roal Caribbean and Celebrity. Unfortunately this ship was awful. It must be 50 years old and ready for the graveyard because the creaks and shaking it makes felt like we was about to sink many times.
The ship was small with hardly anything to do on it. The activities was sparse and the shows ...
We booked a getaway cruise over the Xmas holiday to the Caribbean (Key West, Cozumel, Belize, Costa Maya) on the Rhapsody of the Seas to escape the cold and in-laws, but I think I'd rather had stayed home for all the issues and the unbelievable and nearly unending noise we had to endure in our cabin. We are not new to cruising, but this was only our second, and probably last, one with Royal ...
Food was unimaginative and generally not particularly well prepared. Main dining room menus were repetitive and pushed filet mignon and lobster with expensive add-on prices. Theater screens/projectors were out of focus, old and inadequate. Schooner lounge space was completely inadequate for trivia while main lounge at the rear seemed to be underutilized. Internet was fast but greatly ...
