We liked the aspect of getting into the cabin quickly.
It was not useful to us as a replacement for The Patter. I don’t like to swipe several screens to see what’s up next. I like looking at a full fold-out page to see the entire day at once.
As for WiFi, it was fast. Yet we wanted to use our free internet 500 minutes first before buying a package. The entire experience with that was horrible; it stole our minutes the first night out. It took a few days to get them back, and Alan at the computer desk was not too pleasant. The other tech assistants were great. Anyway, we barely used our 500 over the 2 weeks. We just checked email and communicated with our son and family nightly. Buying a plan would not have been a value for us.
Honestly, we don’t like the “big brother” aspect of the Medallion. Princess is constantly tracking your movements to point sell or up sell to get more money from you. Don’t we have enough of this already while at home?
