More pics! One thing about the Medallion initiative that I think is getting lost in the shuffle is Medallion Net, Princess' new WiFi. Now some people say they go on a cruise to disconnect, not to stay connected, and I hear you. Much as I'd love to completely disconnect, I do use my devices to stay in touch with family, and, yes, work, and also to check out things I want to see and do in port and such. This WiFi, which is available on a per-day and per-cruise basis, is the best I've ever seen at sea. And interestingly, at dinner last night some of my techie friends were testing the MedallionNet speeds and one mentioned that it was faster here, in the middle of the sea, than it was at our home in LA, where she has Comcast!

It was wonderful to meet so many Cruise Critic members at both the post-muster Outrigger gathering and the Princess-hosted meet and great, the next day. In particular, loved the turnout at Skywalkers on Sunday morning -- so many CC'ers gathered, along with Princess' captain Marco, its cruise director, and other officers who wanted to know how things were going for everyone. We especially appreciated the fact that Vicki Johnson, who's part of the development team for Ocean Medallion, was on hand to explain the concept -- which is really neat -- and answer questions. Later, Vicki mentioned how fantastic it was that almost everyone there has embraced the medallion and the services it offers. It's actually a lot easier than I thought....

The weather's been glorious, and the ship's gorgeous (one of my favorite Princess ships, come to think of it). One of the pics is our view from Skywalker's....

To anybody on board still checking in - a favor, please...

I took this itinerary March of 2018 and loved it, hoping they will continue it for Fall / winter 2020/21.

I know those itineraries won't be released for a few months, but if you happen to talk to Captain, future cruise planner,  or any officers who may know, please ask what their sense is regarding if this true 14 day will be continued next deployment.

    Many thanks

Just a few more hours until we are at that happy place.

Checking for any mahj jong  players.  My roommate and I are bringing our cards.  Contact us in cabin A437 if interested in playing.  The thought of not playing for 2 weeks might make us jump overboard.

    Safe travels.
