Are you using Spencer again in St Lucia? We have booked with him however there have been some recent bad reviews on here. Have kept the booking though as I thought I'd give him a chance!

We are not doing any organized tours this trip, but I would use Spencer Ambrose tours again in a second. Few tours are absolutely perfect, and I generally set my expectations accordingly. I remember that the start of the day was a bit on the disorganized side, but the rest of the day so exceeded our expectations that our experience on that day is one of our top two shore excursion memories. I hope your experience is as good as ours was.

    Hi everyone,

Andy and Lynda from Foley, Alabama will be joining you on the Dec 7 sailing of the Crown. This is my 11th cruise with Princess and the 5th on the Crown. I think the Crown is my favorite ship, so I am quite looking forward to this trip. We have visited all of the islands on this itinerary several times. Thank you for the information about the ships in each of the ports - that is wonderful news! Very light traffic in all the ports will be such a pleasure. I can highly recommend Spencer Ambrose Tours in St. Lucia - probably the top-rated tour of any tour company we have used in the Caribbean. If anyone is interested, I can pass on some recommendations of independent tour operators we have used on various islands. I can also answer questions about the Crown, if anyone has anything they want to know.

We are game players and will be looking for others interested in card and board games who would like join us for some game time. Spades, Euchre, and other board games of interest. We will bring our game bag.

Please add us to the Meet and Greet.

We are also celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary during the cruise.

reintro for those who missed it.

Totally get what you're saying...my work colleague cruised to Vanuatu in Jan and their tour operator in their minivan  had car problems on the other side of the island and only just made it back to the ship on time, with 4 kids under 6 years old,  would have been a logistical nightmare getting off that island...perhaps when I am travelling without dependents I will do like you and book thru non-cruise ship operators ☺thanks for the info

Ps do you really have to wear snorkle vests even if you are experienced diver?

On every Princess snorkel excursion I've been on, snorkel vests were mandatory. I cruise the Caribbean to snorkel, so I won't book ship excursions for that reason. Plus, my husband and I are very experienced snorkelers, and many of these excursions are aimed at those with little or no experience. I don't need to be herded, thank you.
