This cruise was a combination 40 year wedding anniversary and birthday present for my husband and I. We were not as concerned with the ports as we were with the activities on the ship and spending time together. We are also both big foodies, and were looking forward to trying new and exciting dishes. We are both veteran cruisers, having sailed on more that 15 ships, most of them in the RC fleet. ...
The ship is beautiful!! But, Costa Maya it's one of the worst ports that I ever did. Very surprise because Mexico and Quintana Roo are always good!. The place was bad and you couldn't leave on your own. The investor that put the money to create the place wants everyone to spend money ONLY inside the place. He or They want it to copy Atlantis or Disney but did a bad job. There are not beaches ...
We decided once again to go on Allure. This time with 6 family members and had a great time. I love this ship. The crew was friendly as usual and always willing to help. One of the things I like most is the different dining options. The ports were great, but unfortunately it being May it was very warm in most of the ports and I had been to them before so I just enjoyed the ship. Not sure I like ...
We chose this as a first cruise and it was priced nicely. Pros included service staff. They were very attentive and always cheerful. That's it. Cons: food was mediocre to awful. The main dining room offerings were sparse...spaghetti? really? roasted turkey? seriously? The windjammer buffet was good for breakfast...horrid for lunch including several Asian dishes that were unrecognizable ...
We chose royal Caribbean on friends input and reviews..the cabin was nice and clean..we had a balcony room on the 7th deck by the elevators and we love it .. some reviews said it would be noisy but it never was..being by the elevators near the middle of the ship gave us easy access to everything, shows shopping and some restaurants..they were a elevator ride away ....our only complaints was the ...
We were treated like second class citizens, blatantly ignored multiple times at bars, questioned and brought into back of security for requesting a room change, among a laundry list of other things. We brought our own ice skates only for ice skating sessions to be misprints on the Cruise Compass, and when we were told that we would be contacted for our private sessions, that never happened. When ...
We went on this cruise for my son's 8th Birthday. He had an amazing time along with my 3 yr old daughter, they did not want to come home. They wanted to spend most of the time in Adventure Ocean. They had so many different activities for them that we had to drag them out every day. My husband and I also had an amazing time. There is so much to do on the ship that we did not have enough time to do ...
Ship was beautiful and staff was great. With over 5500 people on board we were worried about waiting in line, slow service etc....Nothing to worry about there! Never waited more than a couple minutes at the bar. No problem at restaurants. No problem at the shows. Well done Allure of the Seas! Entertainment was very good. Central Park area was beautiful. Specialty restaurants were awesome. Overall ...
Good time - almost great - on Freedom of the Seas. We sailed a repositioning cruise from Port Everglades to San Juan. Truly only 2 negative items to pass along.
At embarkation we had a grumpy older man smart off because we didn't have a pen to fill out our medical form "You came on a cruise without something to write with?" - I didn't see that in our boarding packet - sorry... Second was the ...
The ship is amazing. Central park, boardwalk is a beautiful. Food is really good. The buffet is awesome, lots of variety and for dinner, the American Grill was delicious. Plus, we get a Awesome service by our waiter Vishal and his partner Ashok. Our cabin was really nice, especially with a kid under 1 year old. Lots of activity and the golf course is really fun. Lots of pool for kids and for ...
