Fabulous itinerary - ship needs retiring though

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

Pros: Loved the ports - beware though tendering at Zakynthos; unless you had a ship tour booked you could wait 3 hours plus to get off (we gave up) But the ships tours WERE very good and would recommend. I had the “key” package and loved the little perks (great WiFi!) Food - excellent food in MDR and service (buffet not so good - food often tepid and dining area itself is dismal ...

Flew to Athens, Greece. Spent 3 nights sight seeing. Boarded the ship. Embarkment was easy and quick. Had a great lunch in the Windjammer buffet. Food choices were plentiful and delicious. Cabins were ready at 1pm. Luggage arrived between 2-4pm. We were in an outside cabin with a large window. Cabin was very comfortable and steward ( Henrik) was friendly and efficient. Main dining room ...

Great itinerary, mediocre ship

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

The itinerary of this cruise through the Greek islands was great! A stop almost every day. One day at sea towards Venice Italy. However the ship itself needs updating. Our room was in need of a bit of repair. The food was mediocre at best. The activities on board were mid as well. The cruise left us at a port that did not have transport options (Ravenna, Italy) and we need to pay for a 3 ...

Amazing port intensive cruise with a group of 36 friends

One of our friends had been bumped from a scheduled cruise by a charter 5 years ago. Between additional charter bumps , better pricing for just making a new booking and Covid they finally landed on this cruise. We have a group of friends who travel in a pack and as soon as one family booked, we ended up a group of 36 going on this cruise. We originally were booked on Brilliance but then the new ...

This was our first ever cruise & we chose Royal Carribean due to their reputation. Unfortunately the reality did not live up to the expectation. The boarding at Barcelona was smooth enough and we were walking onto the ship within 45 minutes after our check in time but events soon took a turn for the worse. We were informed our luggage would be delivered to our stateroom but after 2hrs on the ...

Me and my partner needed something to look forward to when in lockdown during Corona so we booked this trip with many months of waiting until departure. When the date was getting closer Royal Caribbean send much information regarding the safety on board and information about restrictions. It was a bit of a hassle to get the testing done when we arrived in Athens and do it at approved services ...

We are a family of 3, mom, dad and 9 year old son. Previously we have cruised on Carnival, Celebrity, Disney and Norwegian. Of those, the experiences on Carnival and Norwegian all but assured we won't be back. The RCL Vision 7 night Greek Island cruise made us solid fans of RCL and the Vision. On and off the ship went without a hitch especially since we only travel with carry on luggage. However ...

Amazing 1st cruise on the Vision

This was our 1st cruise, we chose the ship due to the itinerary and as a 'taster' to see if we would enjoy cruising. Well it was amazing! in fact we've been home 2 weeks and we've booked our next one for May 17 for hubby's birthday and to introduce our son to cruising. We couldn't fault anything from embarkation to the beautiful locations we visited. Santorini had by far the most amazing ...

We sailed out of Venice on 15 Aug for an eleven-night cruise on the Rhapsody of the Seas. Our stateroom was 7580. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary. We have 60 nights of cruise experience on Disney, Carnival and Royal Caribbean. Our overall experience was very good. Check-in at Venice was very smooth and the lines were reasonable. The staff did a nice job with a ship full of people speaking ...

My wife booked this cruise, we are a married couple, myself aged 62 and my spouse aged 56. We flew from Gatwick to Rome Leonardi de Vinci airport, then transferred to Civitavecchia port of embarkcation, a tirering first leg but we were well looked after, tip, make sure you carry with you all cruise documentation and have passports to hand, lost count as to how many times we had to show them. ...
