1-10 of 31 Asia Seabourn Encore Asia Cruise Reviews
After my 5 cruise in 12 month , Encore was my first time , its bit larger than the quest or odyssey but that means there is better shows and 600 pax , si I like to point out that the food was exceptional better than the 4 previous crises with seabourn , perhaps the area and quality of all the ingredients. in Asia myght have a role , the fruits on board where all incredible specially the water ...
Our first Seabourn cruise & we jumped in at the deep end by booking a 28 day cruise.
Embarkation was at Singapore, very quiet, no queues but also a bit low on staff, luckily we managed to work out where we had to go. They did have staff for repeat passengers but they seemed idle most of the time. We were escorted to our room and everything explained.
The first half of our cruise was pretty ...
I am in general a critic. But I have to say Seabourn was an unbelievable experience that we will never forget. I can't say enough good things about this cruise. There were numerous good things that far outway any negative things.
EXCELLENT from beginning to end. The one thing that Seabourn seems to have trouble with is billing and communication. We booked a tour and I decided it was too early ...
After four Seabourn journeys, I can say the experience is so enjoyable that I have no interest in trying other cruise ships. Comfort, food, service etc all first class. Furthermore I make three points:
(A) whoever thought up and/or designed the Town Square concept should be given a double bonus;
(B) the system operated by the banks where one’s account is automatically closed down ...
This was a lovely cruise experience overall. We were fortunate to have sailed on the Encore last year and so can offer a comparison. Briefly, we found that while still very good, there were a couple of areas where things were not quite as good as on our previous cruise. There seemed to be a greater number of new staff who clearly were getting up to speed with their jobs. They were doing there best ...
I have cruised on 2 other cruise lines ( Windstar and Ponant) over the years. I chose this cruise of 24 days from Singapore to Sydney due to the fact that many of the ports I had never visited. I had been on the Encore once before slightly over a year ago and really loved the ship and her crew.
The food was excellent overall, and I mainly chose to eat in The Restaurant which I have always ...
This was our first trip with Seabourn and we thought it was amazing. We liked that the ship was much smaller than ones we had been on before, and it is unlikely that we’d ever travel on the larger ones again. Obviously there are differences with the smaller scale. The restaurants all close at 8.45 p.m. and there’s not a continual buffet service available as on the huge ships, however for us this ...
This was a special trip celebrating a milestone 50th birthday. We are well seasoned cruisers and have been on most of the lines except Silversea and Crystal with 60+ cruises under our belt.
SUITE: We booked the lowest level suite with a guarantee to upgrade to a min cat 3, and received a cat 6 up on deck 11. The room was perfect and spacious. Tons of room, excellent layout, with perfect ...
I appreciate being treated like a valued customer. Every chance possible Seabourn outdid itself.
My cabin was exceptional. Staff was outstanding.
I had one disappointing meal in the Keller dining room. The regular fine dining room never disappointed me.
There were no art events, photographers, or other scams on board. There we no extra dining charges, liquor charges, or tipping ever ...
Having sailed and read Stickman's review, I agree wholeheartedly although having not sailed with Crystal cannot comment on that but he hit the nail on the head regarding Seabourn's lack of service both in food and drink service onboard the Encore.
My husband and I have sailed over 100 days with Seabourn and were very disappointed in Seabourn Encore. The ship is too big and is not what we ...
