We choose because of the itenery. Ship was very clean & crew very friendly. The food was horrible ! Corn & ham on pizza only 1 example. Entertainment I have seen better at high school level. Pool Entertainment was funeral music. They asked us to buy a cruise pkg of $3k upfront lump sum to guarantee them 12 cruises. NO! there was a port cancelation & the refused refund of the port fee. They ...
We had planned this cruise for 2 years, which had to be rescheduled due to Covid concerns. This was our second time on Norwegian and certainly our last. The fact that it was a 21 day cruise was definitely a factor in our disappointment since NCL had basically the same shows (actually two good ones, Kinky Boots and Choir of Men) that they ran in the first week, changed some of the cast, and then ...
Just finished 1 week cruise on Queen of West Columbia & Snake River in Oct 2021. It was NOT "Small Ship Cruising Done Perfectly". The old ship is like a 2.5 star motel. The advertised "Exquisite Cuisine" was B average . The dinner rolls were always room temperature and hard. I recommend they switch to Hawaiian Sweet Rolls so that it's always soft. "Acclaimed Entertainment" consisted of ...
The Grand Puget Sound Cruise on American Cruise line was our 40th cruise on a variety of cruise lines with ship ranging in sizes from 120 passenger to 5,000+ passengers. We chose the cruise because we wanted to try one in the northwest. The web-site and brochure depicts "Simple Sophistication" and a "culinary experience". Unfortunately it was not our experience. From the minute we arrived to the ...
Our primary reason for taking this cruise was to see the ship. At 137,000 tons, this is the largest ship we have ever sailed on and it has some features we have never seen before. We have visited the ports many times so they were not a factor. We also feel that the entertainment on Royal Caribbean is usually superior to other cruise lines and hoped to see some good shows.
If you ever ...
First of all, no hand sanitizers except at the beginning of the restaurants. When returning to port, they had to go back and find one as I complained about the lack of sanitizers! I would be scared to take another Princess cruise!
Secondly, the food was greasy and tasteless. My husband is usually easy to please but we both found it disgusting. We ate out at every port. Had to send back ...
Chose this cruise to get some serious R&R in after a stressful few months. It’s convenient since we live in Seattle and we’ve sailed aboard both the Ruby and other Princess ships.
Sadly, the ship is due to drydock upon completion of this voyage and you can tell from the attitude of the crew and the number of venues/services unavailable. The men’s steam room was unavailable for the duration. ...
The Constellation is a lovely, small ship and our cabin was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The young American staff was delightful, warm, enthusiastic, and helpful. We chose the cruise primarily for the itinerary, and enjoyed the tours and the scenery. Some of the guides were terrific. Getting off the ship at some ports was a bit difficult because of the steep gangplank. Another negative ...
The crew was excellent but the ship was in poor condition. Windows were all dirty and not washed once during 18 day cruise. Lighting throughout the ship was out in a lot of places. Food was sub par for Norwegian. Just an overall disappointment. Ship was dirty in many areas. Maintenance was chipping and painting in areas above our head during cruise. Walkers and joggers were just above our room ...
What has happen to RC? I don't know if its because tips are included now, so staff does not try as hard... but service is far far below what it used to be for RC. I cancel auto tips and pay as I see fit and so happy I did that for this cruise. Workers in the windjammer were dropping silverware on the floor and putting out in service. Three people in our party had an experience with hair in our ...
