Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We chose this cruise because we were tired of being nickeled and dimed to death with other cruise lines & the Itinerary was one we had not experienced before, in addition my sister-in-law recently lost her husband and we invited her to join us. We went to some very nice ports and a few ugly ports... Guatemala and Ecuador. I have to say that this was a very enjoyable cruise except for the ...

Alaska Cruise 8/2015

My husband and I sailed to Alaska on Regent Cruise Lines' Navigator. Like many cruisers, I did a lot of homework prior to choosing a line. I encourage folks to read these reviews to help with clothing, expectations on excursions and the like. I want to start with the good. The scenery is absolutely incredible and the Navigator's small size allowed us to get to ports that some of the larger ...

Fourth and last Regent cruise; go to Alaska on another cruise line!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

This was my last Regent Cruise because the company gives itself 6 stars, when the experience is really 3.5 at best. The real problems are with their mechanical maintenance and boat quality -- the things a person on a smallish boat in a big sea would like for the company they just paid more than $6k for a one week cruise to focus on when investing their profits! Mechanical Issues: This boat ...

Worst Cruise Line Ever

This cruise line thinks it is the best ships in the fleet of ALL cruises. Boy oh boy are they wrong!!!!!!! The regent's is too expensive for what you get. The room was old and run down. There was a dead roach in my room when we walked in, for the first time. They say your excursions are included, if you book a year in advance. I tried 2 months before and everything was booked. It seems more ...

Family Trip of a Lifetime

We chose the Regent because we wanted a smaller ship experience. It was a great decision to choose the all-inclusive cruise. The travel agent gave us access to all the included excursions to choose from and the date to sign up. We did that in a timely fashion online and got everything we chose. The standard room with a balcony was just great. The bathroom was very large with a shower, large ...

This review may be unusual, but we want to let potential Regent Cruisers what we experienced. We chose Regent because we wanted the all inclusive trip. We wanted a little stress as possible. Regent did not live up to their promise. We booked & paid 4/6/15. On 4/21 I received the call that we must pay an additional $300. for our "Free" Hotel in Anchorage, as the Regent Agent made an error ...

Agree with "Regent Really Disappoints" Reviewer

So agree with Regent really disappoints review--we have sailed on Regent Seven Seas and Radisson Seven Seas before Regent, a significant number of times and we were very disappointed in the comparisons. Staff were nice but somehow this brand has lost all the "fun". Quite frankly this was the worst food on any cruise that we have been on, with the exception of Prime 7 and Sete Mari. We had so ...

Regent Seven Seas Navigator to Alaska was AMAZING...INCREDIBLE.

We were blown away! We were in a party of 6 (3 couples), some of whom have cruised before and others had not. None of us had ever cruised with Regent, but after this cruise, we all decided we would never go on any other line. Our last cruise was a 14 night Australia/NZ cruise on Celebrity, which was OK but just barely, especially in comparison. For background information, we are in our mid-50's, ...

This was our 2nd regent cruise and our first on navigator. Love that everything is paid for so you're not signing checks all the time. The small size of the ship made getting around without elevators easy. Self service laundry was great as we had been on a land trip for 7 days so didn't have to bring lots of extras. Staff generally very helpful but not as "over the top" as our 2007 cruise. Food ...

Upon arrival in Anchorage we were greeted byes the transfer representative. It was very disorganized.to make a long story short it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get from the Airport to the Hotel. The airport is only 10 minutes and ten dollars away so all of us were quite frustrated by the time we got to the Hotel.we stayed at the Hilton which is equivalent to a Days Inn.The room was clean but very ...
