We`ve previously done small ships. Our last cruise was a Clipper ship with a very small number of passengers, so this was a new experience for us. Loved it. Great value for money. We chose it for the itinerary which was amazing. We were up early and went to bed late every day.....we didn`t want to miss a thing. OK the embarkation at Singapore was slow but the queue kept moving and once on board ...
The Good: It’s a new ship.
The Bad: it’s a Princess ship.
The Ugly: it’s the same as the old Princess ships only bigger and worse and only all dressed up.
A Princess platinum member so been on a few rodeo’s with Princess. Overall, Princess continues its downward spiral and we will probably not do another unless a very very good sale and better experience comes along.
The Good: Digital ...
Chose this cruise for Asian itinerary Always liked Princess and am in elite class
Embarkation was a nightmare in Shanghai and the queues were a portent for much of the trip, dining rooms, buffet, coffee places etc
Huge casinos and tiny library
Not enough sun beds when it got really warm
Staff as usual doing their best but overall the worst cruis l l have been on
The enrichment talks ...
I've sailed with Princess 19 times now and this was probably the worse.
Started off with a very, very poor embarkation process in Singapore, though much of it I blame on immigration I do think that Princess could work better with them to move people through the hot, hot terminal.
Nice TVs, 48 or 55 hung on the wall, so this was a plus, however I bring lots of movies with me and an HDMI ...

this cruise was very appealing to me an exciting opportunity to see Asia and on a new ship to explore so many different countries very exciting . the only downfall onshore excursions very expensive and not all appealing , personally i would have preferred sight seeing the country than shopping the whole day .SMOKING allowed in casino , allowed inside the ship , smoking in the casino with not ...
We chose this cruise package because of the destinations. We have been on quite a few different cruise lines but hadn't been on a Princess before. We embarked the cruise in Singapore and the queues were massive and slow moving. We arrived at the terminal at 12.30 and did not get to our cabin until gone 4pm. The fact that there were two cruise ships embarking didn't help I'm sure. A bit of poor ...

Hi Normonfire, thank you for your feedback regarding your recent Majestic Princess voyage. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you aboard again!...
Wanted to experience the new ship. I know it did state it was built for the Chinese market but didn’t expect it to that extent.
Only very high end boutiques. No daily sales around the atrium like the other ships.
No photo gallery- one had to flip through thick booklets of negatives!
Laundry rooms were only at one end of the ship! Long long walk if you were at the other end.
Food menu ...
first of all, the guest services was woefully understaffed with newbies that could not answer simple questions and lines with 50 plus waiting in line. rhw pewmium restaurants, with the exception of the crown grill, were awful and definitely not worth the additional price. the tours pretyy much awful, with tour guides looking for a percentage of purchases at their crummy shopping areas. but the ...
As cruise addicts we were alerted to the fact that Princess was about to send a new cruise ship to be stationed at Shanghai for cruises around the Asian region. The ship was launched in April 2017 and after undertaking a number of short cruises in the Mediterranean was then repositioned to the Far East.
The inaugural Asian cruise was for 21 days duration commencing at Singapore on 18 June and ...
we chose this cruise as it was a new ship and wanted to try Princess cruising. we chose the wrong ship for the Princess experience. our cabin was good (mini-suite), but every time it rained, the balcony was flooded and took quite a long time to empty - no drainage - therefore there was already signs of rusting on the paintwork. the ship is lovely, but poorly set out. no quiet bar areas with just ...
