For the first time we were in a suite . Corfu midship. Beautiful stateroom ….great big bathroom! We loved it! Business class at sea! Breakfast in Sabatinis was a treat . The staff there were fantastic. Even sang Happy Birthday to my husband with a candle in a muffin! Dinners at night were very good …the lamb dishes especially. There were not enough sea days to enjoy the ship! Ports were ...

It was our 50th wedding Aniversary.Boarded 6/2/2024 Singapore to Singapore through Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam. We were so disappointed with the lack of hygiene and infection control. There were no hand sanitizer in lobby were lifts were and the hand washing bays in the buffet area were not being used in the beginning. When Gastro came to staff attention on the 17/2/2024, things changed. All of a ...

We did the 14 day Asia cruise on the Diamond Princess leaving from Singapore on 5th January and travelling to Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. We chose this trip as we had done a 3 week back to back cruise back in 2016 on the sister ship, the Sapphire Princess which we loved, in particular the Atrium feature of these ships which provide a lovely meeting place for groups to meet up at. The ...

Cruise review I consider myself to be a fit and healthy 32 year old. Yet on this 10 night cruise I did not stand a chance !!!! I managed to catch not one but two viruses - gastro and the flu. So I was out for most of it and truly devastated. It was not surprising as staff do not enforce any hygiene protocols. Passengers used their hands to rummage and collect food in the buffet (multiple ...

Chose the cruise for the itinerary. Wonderful ports. The food never disappoints. Cabin service was great. The entertainment was varied. My favorite is always the production numbers and Secret Silk was outstanding. I would have liked the others to be a bit longer. The ship seemed to have issues. There were a number of leaks with buckets around to catch the water. There were power issues in ...

We always love the Princess cruises, they offer information on other cultures through their excurisions. We love to visit other lifestyles , eat local cuisine and buy some hand made tems for rrat memories. The staff is usually head and shoulders above any vacation resort. A floating city with plenty of choices for things to do and eat and someone to take pictures in a cute way so you may ...

My first time with the Princess, after 4 other cruises It was great, good ship, clean, good itinerary, great food and very welcoming stafffs. Embarkation process was excellent, took me less than 1 hour to be on board. Disembarkation was good too although not as quick as the embarkation. The only complaint was the room, the air conditoner fan was a bit too noisy but luckily did not disturb ...

Beautiful ship but disappointing itinerary change

We chose this cruise based on a couple of the cities that were on the itinerary that we had never been to before. Unfortunately, when we arrived onboard to our stateroom, there was a letter stating that Koh Samui had been removed from the itinerary and they had replaced it with Sihanoukville in Cambodia. This was not a huge issue, considering we had not been to Sihanoukville before, so we were ...

We choose this cruise for the itinerary. Singapore is one of our favorite destinations. This cruise offers the variety of visiting Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Thailand. The production shows on this ship are excellent. The "Club Class" dining for suite guest is amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The ship offers excellent shore excursions at a fair price. We were in a VISTA ...

Not fun when your booked electric wheelchair is not delivered

Review for a Asia Cruise on Diamond Princess

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

This cruise went in and out of Singapore. All wheelchair access cabins from Fremantle (our home port) were booked to 2020 for school holiday periods. Singapore is a direct flight, 5 hours from Perth about the same as flying to Brisbane. The cruise itinerary was perfect for Mum and Dad, lots of ports where they could see all the bustle from their balcony. Dad spent a lot of time on the balcony ...
