To be fair all I have to compare to is NCL having taken 3 different cruises on NCL (and not been THAT impressed with those). This ship however is dated with much less in amenities, dining choices than what I became used to. The NCL ships all had at least two main dining rooms. This one only 1 and only 3 specialty dining options as opposed to 6 or 7. A few of the nicer things about the ...

Sweet serendipity. The words that come to mind over the course of my maiden voyage aboard the reputed royal Caribbean cruise. Featuring a stunning 15 storey structure as well as luxurious interior adornments and embellishments, Royal Caribbean indubitably forges the ideal image of a commodious, pampering, carefree cruise which promises to rid you of all angst. Not withstanding the physical façade ...

This was our second cruise, we were not actually dissappointed with the ship itself, it was the was it was run. I suppose we had high expectations from going on a Carnival ship previously, however we thought RCCL would be similar.....wrong. See below the "Review" that I sent to RCCL, I would think that with our issues they would have responded by now, hence I gave them a chance before ...

We were to board Rhapsody Of The Seas (ROTS) following it's month long dry-docking in Singapore. Upon arrival at the Singapore Cruise Centre there was no sign of ROTS, only Pacific Princess alongside. Check-in with RCI was smooth and relatively fast and we were then directed to a bus. We had heard that ROTS was berthed at a nearby wharf. After a 20 minute ride we turned into the Pasir Panjang ...

I thoroughly enjoyed my first cruise. I was one of the few single males. At first it was a somewhat daunting experience but I quickly got into the rhythm of things. I reckon it helped that I am used to spending a lot of time working alone. Not that I was alone all the time on the cruise because I made some good acquaintances especially through the discussion board group that chartered three taxis ...

I was hoping for the best after reading recent reviews on Rhapsody, most of which were not good. I was looking forward to having a well-known cruiseline in Asia. I have sailed on Carnival, Princess, Norwegian, and this is my first time on Royal Caribbean. RC was not up to par with the others. Overall, the ship was nice, but the service and food were a major disappointment. THE SHIP/CABIN The ...

Please note this is not my favorite cruise line... cruising on Celebrity,Holland America, and Oceania (even if this last is not anymore to the previous standard, but that,s another tale) is far better than RCCL, but everybody knows that. We choose this ship because of the itinerary and our longing to be on sea while on Xmas, risking the well known too amount of children. Well, we were pleasantly ...
