Out of Fremantle. Cabin very comfortable plenty of cupboard space . Restaurant any time dining very tired food just average. Leaving ship very easy well organised.Entertainment ok bands play outrageously loud no consideration of the age of guests Shore excursions very expensive just like the alcohol outrageous pricing ! The Christmas Day Lunch was disgraceful extremly disappointing. Seem to always ...

We chose this cruise as it was from and to Fremantle, and it took in Christmas and New Year. (For us, a repeat of 3 years ago, then to NZ). These celebrations were mostly non-existent and only available to a few in the Atrium. The Ship is clearly showing its' age in many departments, especially our cabin. The 'serving' staff were tremendous, but the Officers were perhaps too busy running the ...

2-5 Cruises

Age 50s

We booked this cruise for a family Christmas at sea where all ages would be catered for. The youngest were 5 years old and the oldest was 82. The ship was decorated beautifully and you could feel the Christmas spirit as soon as you stepped on board. The kids loved every minute and were fussed over by all the staff not just those in kids club where they came away with decorated hats, stuffed toys, ...

Having sailed princess before I was disappointed to find their standard was obviously not the same as last time I had issues with my stateroom which although fixed promptly should not have arisen in the first place. Entertainment was good, service especially in horizon left something to be desired tables not cleared or cleaned which I did myself. Bar understaffed especially at busy times, I asked ...

Few cruise companies operate from Fremantle. The luxury not to fly anywhere and just get on to the ship within an hour from home was our main motivator to book this cruise. We were pleasantly surprised with the whole experience and the destinations. Doing a Christmas and New Years cruise is always special. The ship was full of families, kids and grandparents. And some oldies complaining that there ...

This was the only cruise taking in Christmas and New Year. Sailing from Freemantle with about 2,000 passengers, a group of all ages The ship now some 24 years old but eh atmosphere was so good on board. Entertainment was suitable for all ages, with a fantastic Caribbean band as the main source of music. They got the crowd going with dancing like you would never believe, coupled with a ...

To get on in our home city was a great advantage as no flying was involved. The cruise to Singapore was very good with all ports interesting. The cruise back to Fremantle was enjoyable with the exception of the Cambodian Port. This was awful and to have been charged $77.00 each for a visa was disgraceful. For us and many of the other passengers who did not even get off this was a huge ...

I booked this cruise News years day 2018 to travel from 23rd Dec to 7th feb, due to the really bad year we had. I decided to put my last of my savings into what I thought would be a fantastic cruise. Well we was wrong !!!! As soon I as we got on the cruise we went for a glass off wine and sat and watched all the elderly people get on. Mid 80s - 90s with motorised scooters and frames. I ...

Tired old Sun Princess

We cruised over the Christmas/New Year with anticipation of an at sea experience - the menu for Christmas day was seriously underwhelming. We booked a mini suite - while it was roomier than a standard cabin, the balcony was tiny - couldn't even put a deck chair facing the water - could only sit side on. The lounge furniture was dirty and stained - the whole decor looked old and tired. The ...

Christmas is a difficult time with having step-families, and families unable to get together on Christmas Day, so we decided this year to do something different. We're in our autumnal years and don't do the Christmas hype, so it was brilliant to find a cruise that had us sailing away over that time - no stress! We love this idea so much we have booked another one, with Princess Cruises, for next ...
