Sydney to Nth QLD September 17th 10 days We took my wife’s father on this cruise - and he was in good company. This was the oldest crowd we had ever seen on a ship. Lots of walkers, scooters, slow moving folk so don’t be in a rush. The vessel size and the ports visited meant all but 1 were disembarked/embarked by tender. Combined with the age profile of the guests and some appalling ...

Big ship with some issues to iron out

We’ve been on Princess for a number of cruises. I think we prefer the mid-sized ship as everything that we experienced on the Majestic that we didn’t like was due to size rather than crew, activities etc Embarkation was easy. Walk on and straight away you’re into cruise mode. The rooms are nice, we had a mini-suite which gives a bit more space. We like to make an effort to keep fit. We ...

This cruise was booked so that we could relax & unwind & we certainly were able to do that. The shore tours that we booked were well worth the cost, especially the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary & also the Crocodile Safari Cruise. The chance to be up close with a koala who was actually awake & hand feed a kangaroo & also see crocodiles in their natural environment was amazing. We thoroughly ...

A lovely ship with so much to explore. Dining rooms are lovely as is the adults only Hollywood retreat. Its a Easy ship to get around if you are a seasoned princess cruiser. Excellent entertainment from the comedy show to soul music show. The big screen for movies etc is hugh and provides a great backdrop against the sky . The rooms are very comfortable and spacious for a interior ...

we chose this ship because it was new but it is badly designed you have to go to different floors to get from one end to the other end of the ship food was average would not sail again on this one found the sun and diamond princess ships are better. Not enough cover around the pool area dance floor between the pools was a wasted space not enough seating for 3500 people no entertainment on pool ...

Excellent value for a suite - liked the itinerary - wanted to experience a new ship. Good overall but we did not like the mattress in the suite. I suspect it is rubber based as it always seemed to be hot. Club class dining is excellent with no waiting during anytime dining. Enrichment Lectures were lacking. Only one American based speaker (most of the PAX were Australian) and he ...

Would not recommend this ship. The mother in laws first cruise and as her complaints were not dealt with made for a very unhappy and grumpy family as we had to put up with the lack of sleep causing being to tired for certain family members of family unable to take part in ship activities. The constant harassment of the photographers is very frustrating and annoying.I feel the princess line has to ...

After cruising for many years with Princess my partner and I were disappointed with the lay out of this ship, their seemed to be not enough staff for the amount of passengers on board, most places we visited on board did not have enough seating, the ship was designed the Chinees market and it shows with the conversions of the public such as the vista lounge once part of the casino and another now ...
