The timing was ideal and we hadn't previously been to a number of the ports of call covered by this cruise
We had previously done one Princess cruise and had heard some very good reports about Princess from friends.
Overall the cruise represented very good value for money.
The Majestic Princess is a very nice, comfortable ship. Given the number of passengers on board, most areas of the ...
We wanted to try out the new Majestic Princess and it went further than we had travelled from Australia so very appropriate choice and exciting for my husband and I.
The ship is well organised and caters for all ages and cultures both in their activities and food choices.
We chose a Mini-suite and had an outstanding cabin stewardess who looked after us well. In fact, she went over and above ...
I chose the cruise for the port of calls and being a new Ship. What I found was this cruise is for the over 70's and disabled .Many of the crew members were enjoying guest services.the older people were hogging all the facilities and were a pain to walk past or get a seat anywhere.
Food and entertainment is repetitive and boring, everytime I went to eat I felt like being in a hospital.
The ...
…..BUT COULD DO BETTER.
Most of the usual PRINCESS pluses were apparent. Great entertainment, hard working cabin, food and wait staff. A decor not as over the top as some competitors. Lower booze prices and the chance to bring on-board 329 2 free bottles of wine + pay corkage on more.
This particular ship is one of the bigger cruise boats out of Australia but had no shortage of bars, lounges ...
This was our first Princess cruise and having sailed on Celebrity many times it was a lovely surprise. The ship is only a few years old and well looked after, everything sparkled. We loved the fact that everything onboard was in AUD$ and reasonably priced, e.g. the coffee card ($36 for 15 speciality coffees), the drinks, the shops. Princess entertainment is first class, the Production shows are a ...
Our annual two week cruise and again just perfect. The cabin clean and plenty of room. Staff attentive and helpful. Food always hot and plenty of variety. Balcony dinner just an experience, if you have a balcony, you should do. Beautiful food and your own personal waiters, set up on your balcony just beautifully. You start with a cocktail of your choice and appetisers, bread, followed by a ...
My husband decided to surprise me for my 60th Birthday with this wonderful cruise!
What a great way to celebrate !!!
Luxury ship,great food,amazing entertainment,movies under the stars,cocktails...
The list goes on and on...
Relaxing on our balcony having a breakfast, looking at the ocean after a good night sleep on a luxury bad, what else could you ask for?
You are never bored on ...
The lovely cabin was the highlight of this ship.
The Majestic Princess is certainly large! A cross between a Westfield shopping mall and a casino. Quite difficult to navigate as most of the large open areas have no markings as to what direction is the front of the ship. They run red carpet on the starboard side and blue on the port side in the cabin hallways, common sense was obviously not ...
First cruise on this ship. Internals similar to Sun and Sea Princess but bigger. Takes a while to get from one end to the other, apparently has 3500 passengers in Australia but up to 4500 whilst overseas. This probably explains why ship did not feel busy ( except of course in Princess Theatre-as per usual for Princess Cruises).
Being set up for overseas it had things that Princess once had in ...
We have been on many cruises on other ships before but never on princess. My daughters went on sapphire princess and since then they keep on telling us to try any princess cruise ship because they are the best. So we booked one and not just anyone but the Majestic one. The ship itself is grand. The design and furniture inside the ship is very modern and classy. The adults only area called the ...
