Christmas Cruise

Review for Pacific Explorer to Pacific Coastal

Second cruise (First was also Explorer). Cruised wih my 5yo and myself. Cabin: 9205 Window cabin with unobstructed view, and a queen bed. This room had more than enough space for our 2x suitcases and drawer space for all our clothes. The suitcases could fit under the bed, but there was plenty of space in the wardrobe for them to stand in so no need. Tv and fridge in room were used daily and ...

Did not enjoy the ship

Review for Radiance of the Seas to Pacific Coastal

We have just completed the cruise and groove ( Elvis Tour) and was disappointed with it. We booked this cruise way back when it was first advertised. Our statement of account was issued on 19.8.17 from Helloworld Carindale. That is nearly 15 months before the embarkation date. From meeting lots of people and talking, we found out that those lots of people all got upgraded. Especially the two ...

I would not recommend this ship for Pensioners

It was good value for the money. The overall service was good. There was not much variety entertainment in the bars. There were 4 good shows. The others were somewhat poor and cheap. The talent quest was good and entertaining. The Circus was good but I don't think it was good enough to have to pay $15 extra. I refuse to pay $20 for a Sauna. The ship was good for family and the young ...

Enjoyable cruise for a second time around

Review for Noordam to Pacific Coastal

We enjoyed the whole cruise experience on Noordam -HAL, cruise for 15 days over the Christmas New Year period. It was good value for money compared to other cruise line offerings for the same period. We have cruised with HAL many times and are now nearing the achievement of 4 star Mariner status. The ports on this cruise were in some cases a repeat of the 2016-2017 Christmas-new Year cruise. We ...

Inferior in every way

Having previously experienced two other cruise lines and most importantly P + O's parent company carnival, this cruise was disappointing to the extreme. Ways in which this cruise was lacking: Very old ship that was renovated being advertised as a 'new addition'. I only picked this cruise because I thought it was a new ship - wrong. It's a 20 year old ship that got renovated. Terrible ...

P&O negative attitudes, aggressive males

Review for Pacific Explorer to Pacific Coastal

I was travelling solo in a balcony cabin. Booking in via their web site & 4 phone calls to P & O took me 5 hours, 2 of the 4 people I spoke to over the phone told me they have a lot of problems with their web site. With hindsight I should have taken this as an omen early on & not booked with P & O at all. At check-in at the cruise terminal I was confronted by a loud aggressive male who ...

Great family time

Review for Pacific Aria to Pacific Coastal

We had a great time. It wasn't our first visit to New Caledonia and Vanuatu, but this time we hadn't booked any shore activity. In Noumea we met, Lea a young woman who just started as a guide and we really felt welcomed. First time, we went to countryside and we realized that there was much more to do than lemon beach. I strongly recommend her: her company is called OLETI TOURS, it is brand new, ...

Great Experience!

Review for Carnival Spirit to Pacific Coastal

My family and I decided to go on a Carnival cruise for my grandfathers' birthday since none of us had ever been on a cruise before and it sounded like something the kids would enjoy as much as the adults. And I've got to say... I am very impressed. The kids had an absolute blast on the waterslides and pool- which conveniently had seating around the area so we could put down stuff and sit down. ...

Great experience for first time cruisers

Review for Voyager of the Seas to Pacific Coastal

Really positive experience overall, found the ship and most facilities clean and easy to navigate, although will add our first day embarking and settling in was confused, and some notice / info about needing Lanyards would have been good to know in advance. Also our stateroom was not set up for our family of four but just had two twin beds, which on boarding was a disappointment and meant delays ...

BIG rip off, bad food, poor entertainment, unorganized crew

Review for Ovation of the Seas to Pacific Coastal

We where very excited to spend Christmas with our kids in this big ship!!, but we had a BIG disappointment, the food was always the same, poor quality, the crew tried the best , mostly everybody did not understand English. The elevators always full, sometimes take 10 minutes to go from level 11 to 14, cant walk due to a operation. Entertainment average mostly boring , if you had the chance to ...
