Brilliant holiday

Review for Celestyal Majesty to Mediterranean

I have rated this cruise a 5 rating for several reasons. It may not be luxurious or swish but where it lacks on that front it more than makes up for in friendliness and fun. Staff were really helpful and just couldn't do enough for you. Plenty of them in bars, restaurants reception and throughout the ship making service impressive. Food variety was sufficient and flavours were delicious. ...

Butlins on the sea with staff that acted like they didn't want to be there.

The cruise was on average what you would expect. The food, drink, entertainment, and ship was nothing more than what you would expect on a cruise at the expense paid. If this was the worst than I would have marked higher. A few staff were good, cleaning staff and security were excellent - very polite, well mannered, looking after the guests. However most of the staff acted as if they clearly ...

TIRED, SAD, NOISY AND SAVED ONLY BY THE SHOW TEAM

Review for Celestyal Majesty to Europe - Western Mediterranean

We chose this cruise having travelled once before about 8 years ago on a thomson cruise. We knew the standards (and ceilings) were lower than the larger cruise lines we have been on, but also that the entertainment more than made up for it last time, and that the food had be quite good. We wanted and inexpensive winter sun break and this fitted. Having read the reviews we were not expecting too ...

chose this cruise to take my dad back to see gibralter. The overall impression of this ship is not luxury but comfortable with friendly staff. Come on thomson what about every night at 6-30 out when you eat in the dining room and come out about 8pm all seats in the entertainment lounges taken you need to look at start times. yes your shows were quite good but we have been to better.also why ...

Well after reading some of the negative reviews I thought I'd add a positive review. Don't believe all you read from the moaners!! This was our first cruise and I can safely say it won't be our last!! We went on with an open mind and wasn't disappointed. The moaners going on about the food all I can say we never had a bad meal and if you couldn't find something you liked then there's something ...

Perfect Cruise in Every Way

I seriously think I must of been on a completely different cruise ship to some of the reviews bellow. If fact one of the below sounds like the person who we had the misfortune of sitting with on the last night. If all the others had been as stuck up and arrogant as they were , we would of had very miserable meals. Luckily all the other dinners we had the pleasure to sit with didn't moan and ...

WHAT ON EARTH HAS HAPPENED TO THEM?

Review for Celestyal Majesty to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

We chose this cruise as Thomson had always been pretty good. WHAT ON EARTH HAS HAPPENED TO THEM? For a start the food was absolutely abismal. Horrible overcooked vegetables, terrible meat dishes which were sometimes unrecognizable as to what they were, and the salads hardly non-existent unless you love eating lettuce all the time. The desserts were like something you would have at a kids ...

Such a Disappointment! Choose a Different Company and Ship! Terrible!

So many errors and complaints! Don’t know where to start! I would never recommend going with Thomsons to anyone! They don’t want to know if you have a ruined holiday they will just fob you off! Like they did us! They don't care of your happy or not! • Major Safety Hazard! Cigarette Smoke coming out of the air-conditioning. They didn’t want to know. Due to staff smoking on Level 2! Also ...
