11 Night Italy, Malta and Spain

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Vision of the Seas

My husband and two teenage daughters (14 and 17) took this cruise in April. Weather was perfect for sightseeing and lots of walking-about 3-5 miles a day between excursions and our own exploring of ports. Overall, the vacation was wonderful! We spent 2 days in Venice before the cruise and took the water taxi over to the terminal which was fun and efficient. The ship is a bit older, not a lot ...

We choose this cruise because of the awesome itinerary. The ports did not disappoint. Malta, Mallorca, Florence and Barcelona were all awesome! We spent 3 nights in Venice before the cruise and while the weather was cool and windy we loved Venice. We really liked the size of the cruise ship and our balcony stateroom was roomy enough with lots of storage. The ship is older, but kept in good ...

We chose this cruise for the ports of call. It was a way to see a number of cities in Europe, and not have to move hotels every 2 days. We enjoyed the various ports we visited and the tours we took were all excellent. The service on the ship was also very good. Our wait staff in the dining room were exceptional and our cabin was well maintained, However i had to ask for shampoo, shower gel, etc. ...

Being on the ship for the first time, I would like to convey my impression about the ship Vision of the seas and our cruise. Great cruise, cabin was clean and neatly looked after. Service were so wonderful, all daily activities, food and presentation were so delicious. Also we like to convey our real appreciate for the crews cheerful attitude, and our special satisfaction for the waiters who ...

The best... OH NO

When choosing this cruise I was expecting the best. The best ship, the best service, the best dining, the best entertainment, the best children activities, the best adult activities, the best shore excursions, the best cabin, and the best ports. While some of these were good, none were the best by any means. Entering this ship is a nightmare. If you enjoy being rounded up like cattle, then ...

First Cruiser's Impressions

I am a first time cruiser and have two small children. We are seasoned travelers with our children and were looking for adding something different to our European vacation and originally considered a river cruise, but opted for this cruise out of Venice. We concerned about many things in advance: size of the cabins, food choices, seasickness, etc..probably some of the things everyone who has never ...

We are a family of 3, mom, dad and 9 year old son. Previously we have cruised on Carnival, Celebrity, Disney and Norwegian. Of those, the experiences on Carnival and Norwegian all but assured we won't be back. The RCL Vision 7 night Greek Island cruise made us solid fans of RCL and the Vision. On and off the ship went without a hitch especially since we only travel with carry on luggage. However ...

Small Ship -- Nice Port of Calls

The ship is small, but enjoyed the Ports of calls to Greece, Croatia, and Turkey. The food was very good. There are only 2 complaints that I have, breakfast in the dinning room, was extremely slow... Long time to get order taken, and long time to get food. However, dinner was not an issue. The other complaint was there was not a whole lot of activities on the ship. For those who like Bingo, ...

Fantastic service from all staff on board. Cruise Director Bill and Activities Manager Martin where exceptional, their level of energy was amazing! We loved the food in the Main Dining Room, the service from Veerensingh, no request was too much for him, always smiling! Our only downsides were the exceptionally high priced internet (this should be included in this day and age) it's become top ...

This was our fifth cruise but our first with Royal Caribbean. we found the food only poor to mediocre the service average and the prices ridiculous EG a bottle of water 8.5 dollars + 18% service charge.. The entertainment (apart from a soul group) was poor and sometimes we felt it was more like Butlins rather than a sophisticated cruise. The buffet closed at 9.00 pm and on one morning we went for ...
