We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We have never been to some of the countries and ports visited on this voyage. We were impressed by the ports. We enjoyed all the excursions we took. customer service was superb. Embarkation was a breeze. The crew was attentive friendly and professional. The ship had been recently refurbished. We found it very easy to get around. We enjoyed the food. ...

Poor customer service information we were due to start sailing from Venice on 23rd of November 2019, instead we were put on a coach travelled 2.5 hours to Trieste without prior notices Buffet restaurant not enough capabilities so often have to queue for sitting at breakfast and at lunch. Choice of food poor and not nicely cooked. The buffet restaurant is cramped and if wanted omelette one needs ...

We have sailed on the Pacific Princess before, 12 years ago when she was called the Tahitian Princess, and our memories did not betray us. We had a wonderful time. We were on the 12 night Greek Conusseur leg of the voyage, Venice to Rome, with port stops nearly everyday. We loved the entertainment, there was quite a variety of shows from classical to comedy and we thought the sound system was ...

Medical the best, avoid tours group and hope you don't need the host desk

Review for Costa Luminosa to Transatlantic

This was an RCI package cruise and the worst way to ever travel (bye bye RCI) because it was either a balcony on Costa/MSC or an interior room on the bigger names, like Royal. We decided to try Costa and it will be the last time. First, Costa likes to play the "we're separate entities" game when dealing between the host desk and tours. No one is responsible to the passenger but the department ...

Money Grabbing Rip Off Merchants

Review for Costa Deliziosa to Transatlantic

What an absolute rip off this cruise ship is! Service Gratuity is Mandatory and not disclosed upfront. We left with a £150 Service Charge bill after a 5 night cruise. The onboard photographers are rip off salesmen! When we asked for discount on a large order we were told by the manager to quote "If you want memories of your children you have to pay for them" The bars only use bottled Pepsi ...

The voyage resembled a fantasy for high seas travel in the days of yore.

We just completed our third voyage on the Pacific Princess. Almost three months total sailing on this vessel. But this one was different, in that we booked our first full suite after over 600 days of sailing and had Club Class Dining. By far our greatest cruise ever from a cabin and dining standpoint. Other aspects of the cruise were good to very good but the cabin and dining made this an ...

We chose this cruise just 2 weeks after returning from a land trip to France. We went online and instead of choosing a cruise for 2019, we chose this 29 Night Mediterranean cruise from Venice to Ft Lauderdale because our Princess agent found us a great, super low one-way air fare to take us from Orlando nonstop to Frankfurt then nonstop to Venice with only a 3 hour layover. After being booked ...

Perfect ship size, great service!

We really enjoyed the Pacific Princess, it is definitely our favorite Princess ship. The ship size is perfect. It's small and intimate and there was never a wait for anything. Embarking was easy, disembarking was easy, tendering was easy. It never takes long to get anywhere. The ship has recently been refurbished and it feels new. Service onboard was fantastic, as well as the food. The only ...

Great Cruise across the Atlantic

Review for Viking Sky to Transatlantic

User Avatar

Viking has the reputation of providing one of the best values in Ocean Cruising and on a recommendation from a friend I took the plunge. My wife and I have cruised a number of times and usual use Celebrity and enjoyed our cruises with them. The one downside to the major cruise lines is that you get nickel and dimed to death. Alternative restaurants are are not included in the listed prices and ...

Choppy design, not prepared for maiden voyage

Review for MSC Seaside to Transatlantic

User Avatar

I looked forward to the maiden voyage on a new ship and we love the transatlantic itinerary, MSC handled the change in starting point from Venice to Trieste very well. The crew did not seem adequately familiar with the ship and we went thru 4 different waiters in four days in the dining room. The cabin was tiny for a "mini suite" and there was very limited storage space. The pool and water ...
