"Excited to be on this cruise we were looking forward to the ports and being on the Voyager as this ship was our first transatlantic many years ago,
We were on the previous week cruise so we disembarked to receive new sea pass cards then re-boarded ship. For those who have been "loyal to Royal" for years and earned the various statuses; I believe it is grossly unfair to have a Suite Only lounge (empty majority of time) when before had a gold card and could use the Pinnacle lounge, Since when does a few preempt the majority just as 208 had more space allocated than 1100!..."Read More

We did the October repositioning from Boston to San Juan. It was my first Royal Caribbean cruise in ten years and first one since covid ( NCL Dawn 5 years ago) the ship reminded me of the Navigator, Mariner and Explorer ships. It was a great size not too big or small. Our balcony room was adequate. Cabin steward was great. It was an adjoining cabin and could hear a screaming child the first and ...
We chose this participar cruise because of the low price, proximity to home, and where in ended (in PR). This would allow us to spend a few extra days on the island.
We arrive promptly at a check in time at 10:30 AM. although the check in process was a breeze because we had prefilled all our documentation online, the onboarding process was slow. No one was allowed to board regardless of your ...
We chose this cruise because we thought we would see fall in Canada. We had to change rooms because of the smell, food was atrocious, I was run into at the casino by a staff member, nothing to do at the ports, and came home with covid x2. This is not the Royal Caribbean of the past. Crew members smelled like smoke. The comedian told a viagra joke which we did not find funny. I could not ...
The October 2022 RCCL trip out of Boston was a big disappointment because the Voyager Diamond lounge was dark, unkempt, and looked like it was a renovated broom closet. I think there were 1-2 windows showing either steps or the underside of lifeboats or some other obstruction that rendered the window(s) useless. When a concierge finally showed up, we went to her desk to make reservations for the ...
My DH and I chose this cruise since it was leaving near our home port of Boston. We knew the ship was older but since it had been amped in 2019 decided to give it a try. The ship itself is in pretty good condition considering it’s age. The cabin was spacious and clean if a bit outdated. Embarkation was not difficult and we were aboard quickly.
When we boarded we entered deck 4 and asked where ...
This was our first cruise post-covid and while we were very happy to be out in the world, our time aboard was nothing special.
The staff were marvelous, very friendly and helpful. They were quick to fix or clean up. But most of the crew seemed to be training and it showed. So many dishes were coming out dirty that we had to check glasses before we poured anything. The food was not well ...
Decided to take this cruise out of Boston to Maine/Canada. Have taken this cruise on other ships with Royal in the past. Picked this cruise as when we booked, you still had to take Covid test before going on. Lucky me, they stopped the requirement on October 1, so no tests before cruise. So I got Covid even though I tried to be careful. Very few people wore masks, by end of cruise, several people ...
We have cruised in Royal Caribbean two times and the most recent time was not at all a good experience. There were various problems. We took the Oct 2-9, 2022 out of Boston to New England and Canada.
1.) The ports were beautiful but the excursions that we did were rushed and not as interesting as we had hoped. The timing was off for the reversing rapids so we were there twice during the ...
VOYAGER OF THE SEAS – 9/25 – 10/2 NE/Canada
Just some random thoughts about our cruise.
Point of reference: We are 74. We cruise for the ports only. We have been on quite a few cruises but most recently our last three were on Holland America Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam.
Boston embarkation was quick – our check in time was 11:30. The line to enter the terminal was fairly long but ...
I have been on 15 previous cruises, but this is my first time on an RCL ship. I chose it mostly because the port is nearby (Boston). I enjoy cruises these days because it's a real vacation; I don't have to figure out WHAT I'm going to make for lunch and what for dinner. I'm so sick of that! Also, to be entertained by music or karaoke or whatever is such a pleasure. Real people, not the usual ...
