Overall very pleased with the cruise and would not hesitate to use Princess again for future cruises, but there are some things to be aware of prior to booking.

We arrived in Vancouver the morning of the ship's departure. Princess has a station set up in the baggage claim area and will take your bags to your stateroom regardless of how you're getting to the ship. We had not pre-purchased tickets on the Princess transfer bus and used the Canadian metro to get from the airport to the port. The metro station is connected to the airport and is an easy 3 minute walk from the baggage claim area. The trains are clean, very inexpensive, and deliver you to within eyesight of the ship at the port. I would recommend using this option to transfer from airport to port.

The embarkation process is a model of organization and efficiency. Have your passport and boarding pass ready to clear the two customs stations and pick up the Princess Coral ID card. It took less than 20 minutes from the time we walked into the facility until we were on the ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin AA

More room than expected. Bathroom had full tub and shower. More than enough storage space with a large hanging closet, stand up dresser (shelves), and two night stands.
