Chose this cruise because the ship went to Normandy, and we had never been to Paris. The ships was fairly new, and was excellent in every way. We had travelled around Europe by hire car before we started the cruise. The on board service started when we first boarded. The cabin wasn't ready as we were early. The drinks were offered straight away. The pianist who played nearly all day long did not repeat a tune. The food was excellent and the wines top quality. I did explore Paris before embarkation. Saw all the local attractions and enjoyed the local restaurants.
